Media: Maddow and MSNBC both WIN HUGE 1stQ ratings; CNN is #2; FOX continues to lose viewers

MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show was the highest-rated show in April,
with the network claiming a fifth consecutive month with Maddow winning
the coveted  9 p.m. ET hour   with a total audience of 2.82 million viewers,
ahead of CNN's Chris Cuomo  and  FAKES News' Sean Insannity.

But in the post-Trump era, Tucker Carlson is king

Throughout the Trump presidency, Hannity was unquestionably king of conservative media.

Carlson took over the 8:00 p.m. time slot on Fox in the spring of 2017.
He ran a consistent second to Hannity in total viewers.
But a noticeable shift in conservative media occurred with Trump's downfall.
Hannity, who had tied his relevance to the now-former President, started losing to Carlson
in the ratings by SIZABLE margins.

And now, in his key 9 pm ET time slot,  he's being whupped consistently
by MSNBC's The Rachel Maddow Show - despite liberal viewers being split
between two liberal cable news networks!

In April, Tucker Carlson Tonight topped total viewers with 3.02 million, followed by The Five with 2.73 million, Hannity with 2.73 million, The Rachel Maddow Show at 2.71 million and The Ingraham Angle with 2.07 million.

In adults 25-54, the rankings were Tucker Carlson Tonight with 523,000, followed by Hannity with 449,000, The Five with 431,000, The Rachel Maddow Show with 396,000 and The Ingraham Angle at 379,000.
