She couldn't make things worse than what they are now if she were to assume the presidency.  Duhbuaaa took the nation from the excellent state it was left by Clinton and has turned it into a social embarrasment and a financial disaster; a nation seen by the world as weak and divided.  It can't get much worse than that.

Excellent state?  Seriously?  The economy was on the decline before Bush took office.  It had nothing to do with him.  Clinton had absolutely nothing to do with the economy being the way it was in the late 90's.

Your point has very little to do with the topic of conversation, but I’ll play along.

“Do you really feel that the country is doing fine?”

It could be better, but it is still the greatest country in the world and MUCH better than any socialist or communist country.

“Do you know anyone who lost a home, filed bankruptcy or lost a son or daughter in Irag?”

I don’t know anyone who has a son or daughter that was killed in “Irag.”

“Every time McCain is asked a question, no matter what it is, all he ever says is, " well, I was a POW for 5 1/2 years".”

I have rarely heard McCain bring up the topic of his POW experience.  I do remember at the forum McCain saying his deciding to give up freedom and stay in the POW camp because there were other soldiers who had been there longer was one of the toughest decisions of his life.  Then Obama’s answer to the same question was “opposing the war in Iraq.”  HE DIDN’T EVEN VOTE ON THE WAR.

“Does he have any real thoughts?”

He has plenty of real thoughts, unlike Barrack Hussein “can’t speak unless I have a teleprompter” Obama.

Do you know that the only people you are convincing with this rhetoric are yourselves and not the independents/undecided that you need? So it has no affect whatsoever

im a republican...lets be serious here guys....he picked palin to go after the clinton vote....gotta do wut u gotta do to get elected..
 
but lets not sit here and tout her like she could really run the country right now if something happened to mccain..it just makes us sound pathetically stupid..
 
and i dont like obama at all..hes not ready to be president..but at least 18 million democrats thought he was and voted for him...
 
can you imagine if palin had been in the republican primary..she wouldve been laughed off the stage..no offense to her, im sure shes a good conservative, but shes not ready to be president which is the primary responsibility of the vp.
