McCain's VP

Lets think about this for one second. Being that McCain is old ( you can't dispute that), if something were to happen to him ( and I hope it doesn't), this lady would be our President???? God Forbid. No Thanks! If this were to happen we are in some serious trouble. We would be wishing W was back in the house.

She has been office less than 2 years, are you kidding me? You would want this person leading our country at such an important stagein in our country. The only reason McCain picked her was to try and pick up Hillary's votes. That is the only reason. He picked her because she is a women.

And Obama has only 143 days of experience in the US Senate.  So what is your point?

The fact of the matter is she has more executive experience than Obama does, so in a way, the Republican’s VP pick is more qualified to be president than the Democrat’s Presidential candidate.

My point is this. Do you really want to continue the way we are today? Do you really feel that the country is doing fine? Do you know anyone who lost a home, filed bankruptcy or lost a son or daughter in Irag?

Every time McCain is asked a question, no matter what it is, all he ever says is, " well, I was a POW for 5 1/2 years". Ya, we know that, we all know that. Does he have any real thoughts?

I will say it again, the only reason he picked her was to pick up Hillary's votes. Do you think if Hillary was not involved at all, he would have selected her as his running mate? No freaking way.

No, one of the main arguments from the right has been, "Obama doesn't have enough experience."  Period.  Palin has more experience than he does.

And I don't recall any republican saying experience doesn't matter.

Your point has very little to do with the topic of conversation, but I’ll play along.

It could be better, but it is still the greatest country in the world and MUCH better than any socialist or communist country.

I don’t know anyone who has a son or daughter that was killed in “Irag.”

I have rarely heard McCain bring up the topic of his POW experience.  I do remember at the forum McCain saying his deciding to give up freedom and stay in the POW camp because there were other soldiers who had been there longer was one of the toughest decisions of his life.  Then Obama’s answer to the same question was “opposing the war in Iraq.”  HE DIDN’T EVEN VOTE ON THE WAR.

He has plenty of real thoughts, unlike Barrack Hussein “can’t speak unless I have a teleprompter” Obama.
