CEOs are more greedy than when they literally killed their workers, and made them work for company script (which allowed them to only buy company goods at inflated prices).
Check
CD knows nothing of history.
acting like a jerk again and trying to twist my words into other things i see Rick.
Am sure i know more about history then you do.
When i said ceos were less greedy in the past, first off i didnt mean 100 years ago and i also wasnt talking about other faults they might have had.
I was only referring to the older ceos being happy the company was making a profit and workers had jobs. The older ceos werent as concerned about making every single penny of profit for themselves, so they could go out and buy 10 mansions around the world, planes, yachts, warehouses full of exotic cars. Thats what i was referring. Maybe you should have just asked.

no cd, i made a conscious decision to stop reading your posts, so i don't know if it's true or not. I will assume it's ill conceived, and likely something that i wholly disagree with.
didn't see anything on the tube, not a fan of the television outside of wagerable sports
Man Be, am actually hurt just when i thought we were becoming friends you throw that one on me, guess i will have to go back to bashing you again, lolllllllllll.
The post i was asking you about, was the one you commented in.
Is what i said in this post below not true?

lmfaoooooooooooo yes we know the tax code they are going by is legal, thats because the politicans wrote the fuckin laws.
The illegal actions took place when the companies gave and filled the politicans pockets with gifts and monies to change the laws to benefit them. But nobody is going to get in trouble for these actions because the politicans have the ulitmate power to bascially do whatever the fuck they want to do.
Anything in that post that isnt true? Dont make me call the boys in blue on you

Corporations need to pay their fair share ... and start giving people jobs ...CEO's need to have their salarys capped ...Vice-President Biden even said paying higher taxes is a patriotic act ...and "We want to take money and put it back in the pocket of middle-class people"........
If corporations don't want to GIVE people jobs and pay their fair share the Government should take them over ........just like the ones they took over, that went bankrupted paying American unionized worker's $85 an hr..because they weren't smart enough to ship them overseas and pay 1-2 bucks a day for labor...

But maybe you are in the mood to entertain a question or two?
I assume that you and your old lady own your house. When you file income taxes, do you participate in the Mortgage Interest Deduction?

Rick, sorry i dont have names for you, because i never thought when iw as growing up i would be asked on a politics forum 25 years later.
A decent example of companies taking care of their employees was all the car companies. They didnt mind sharing the rewards of the company with employees.
Listen all that stuff is in the past, bottomline is companies thru the years have used their massive profits to buy off politicans to write tax laws that make companies not have to pay any taxes to the govt. If you think both parties arent guilty of fucking the citizens of our great country, then thats your opinion. My opinion is they both should be locked up.
Also you have yet to answer why you are constantly defening the corporations, even thou i always try to answer your questions the best i can.
Also how come all you constitution guys dont say anything about the fact that it was companies who were supposed to be paying the taxes to the govt and not individuals?

Wait one second you might be a pretty smart guy but you are wrong here.
First off deducting your mortgage interest is not the same as not paying taxes on profits companies make. Nobody should have to pay a tax on interest which you have already given to a bank or loan company. The loan company or bank are the ones who need to pay the tax on that interest, because theya re the ones who are making the profit. So in this case you are clearly 100 percent wrong on.

also Be the mortgage interest deduction wasnt created by homeowners all getting together and paying off politicans to write that code, where as the companies actually bribed politicans to write laws that would only help themselves benefit. That is a huge huge difference in what you are trying to compare. My guess when Wallstreet reads your post on that, he will tear you up also.
Trying to compare apples to oranges I wasnt born yesterday, maybe the day before but not yesterday

Actually, yes it is. Do you know which political group donates the most money every year, to both parties? The National Association of Realtors. Now why would they do that? If it is analogous that lobbying = bribery, then the biggest lobby is enjoying the biggest bribe. The NAR perpetuates the whole lie of homeownership being the great american investment. The ONLY reason that the math works for taking on massive debt, because that is the most favorable situation for an individual to be in, based on what the tax (loophole for the individual) code is suggesting that they do with their finances. "Lever to the gills, and you shall reap great tax relief benefits!"
So you see, it's not by accident that we find ourselves in the situation that we are in today.
Why do you think that the government did that silly 8500 first time tax buyer credit . If a median house is 150k, what is the Realtor rake on that transfer?

Grow the fuck up and stop acting like a child. I really dont think you are going to get the message until you are banned, then you will realize you shouldnt keep testing the mods daily.

hey Be, i agree with some of the things you say, i just dont agree that individuals deducting their mortgage interest off their taxes is the same thing as a company bribing politicans to write laws to only benefit themselves and get them entirely out of paying any taxes on the profits they make.
I really dont know what type of system the govt should use, i jsut know the system has to be fair to everybody. You cant have individuals paying taxes and businesses who make massive profits paying nothing. Something is very wrong there.
Put all your own beliefs aside for one minute, even you have got to see that something is wrong with that picture.

The article miss the bigger picture. Focus is on income tax but other taxes are ignored such as sale, payroll, property and taxes paid by shareholders. When those taxes are considered, corporations are among the biggest tax payers.
Unless pursued by IRS for tax evasion, corporations are innocent and aren't doing anything illegal. Governments have their own agenda and often reject lobbyists. To increase tax revenue, governments may give tax breaks to attract/retain investment and jobs. If America follows other countries, more tax is more socialism and more government intervention in the economy.

To answer your questions, I am defending the corporations becasue they have not broken the law. Nothing they have done is illegal. Even though I am not thrilled that these guys do not pay anything in taxes, I understand that it is because of crooked Politicians.
And please show me in the constitution where it says that GE has to pay taxes.,
