An individual's or corporation's income doesn't belong to the government.
You need to change your outlook a bit there.
Additionally, nobody is complaining about unions breaking "laws"
Millionaries, after taxes, are still millionaires. That is a staggering sum of money. It is a double edged sword.
The better method for comparative purposes is percentages. Google the US corporate tax rate to other countries. The results are (to use your word) staggering.

Perhaps it is your outlook that is 'shortsighted.'
And there have been hundreds of threads dedicated to unions. Haven't seen your face in them. ![]()

I didn't answer because it has nothing to do with my point. The issue isn't outsourcing, nor importing, nor a deplenishment of resources, rather the ability for a company to have one office and one employee in the US and receive every bit of tax protection that the US offers.

Yeah I got the sarcasm.
Things are a little different in my neck of the woods, but even here we are less and less a resource based economy.

Not when you factor the corporate tax credits that are available.

So, not only do government workers get higher pay, they get better benefits and are virtually un-firable.
sorry pal, theres an updated thing on that. I read it a few weeks ago on one of the online papers and if i find it again i will post it.
Private sector workers earn more in wages then public sector workers, while the public sector workers earn more in benefits and thats because the publci sector workers did the smart thing and traded wages for benefits when contracts came around, so really stop your pissing and moaning about public workers. also public sector workers dont get the luxury of getting huge bonuses at their jobs, all things that arent calculated in private sector workers wages. So really give me a break that private sector workers have it so bad, because truth is they are just big cry babies that are jealous that they werent smart enough to go for better benefits in their contracts, instead they wanted the cash so they could buy more cases of beer to drink.

So your argument on expenditures and revenue is the government shouldn't be involved. Got it. ![]()
