On May 14, 1944, a courier flight with three crew members and Joe's uncle as a passenger had unknown engine failure and ditched in the ocean. One crew member was rescued by a barge, the others lost at sea.
So NO being shot down while flying a plane, NO cannibals didn't eat him, just a bunch of made-up bullshit.
Add that one to a huge lifetime list.

I sure Lee said/wrote many eloquent & enlightening things after Gettysburg but “Never fight uphill, me boys” is not among them. So this be one many tactic’s used during battle by the greatest wartime leader General Trump ! Which odd, In that he sent his troops to a uphill battle on Jan 6th at the capital.
