Under both democrat and republican presidents, no evidence of under funding for US military. US regularly spends more on military than the next 6 countries combined. Problem is that US war against Iran is illegal and unnecessary. Not self defense according to international law. US intelligence say there is no imminent threat. NATO has no legal obligation to help aggressor start a war when US has not been directly attacked. Polls show most Americans still disapprove of Iran war despite months of Trump unconvincing propaganda. Unpopular war is a waste of money that could be better spend elsewhere for the well being of Americans.

Both democrats and republicans support suspending gas taxes which at least show government is trying to address affordibility. However average driver probably save very little per refill and less funding goes to maintaining roads. Other countries have better infrastructure because of higher taxes.
