Oddly, Trump promises to lower drug prices by up to 1400%. Of course, that is impossible because drug companies would be paying  customers to buy their products. Besides, he has threatened 200% tariffs on pharmaceuticals although many drugs are produced ovdrseas. In first term, Trump administration did too little too late to reduce prices. In contrast, Biden administration has achieved far more.

Of course this means that 99.9% of the MAGA-cult which heard or read about it now believe it is completely factual.

Lets not forgot this whopper that he said at every rally.  He would cut all of our electric bills in half, in 1 year. Hes got 6 months left to make this come true

Totally impossible, not even a sliver of a chance.  Every time i heard him say that at his rallies, i would ask myself how could any person who could spell their own name and dress themselves everyday actually believe such bullshit, but the maga morons would go crazy at that rallies when he said this.  I would do this after seeing and hearing this nonsense . Am still trying to figure out when did our population become this dumb?  You would think with all the advancements the world has made, people would actually be smarter, especially with all the knowledge you can learn just on the internet, but its actually going in reverse.

People that actually think trump could cut your electric bill in half, need to turn in their drivers licenses right now.  Should not be allowed to operate a motor vehicle

but it will really harm them in the long term.”

In a world where your congress approves the president can make trade wars with the world and where EU’s member states also agree so this agreement will go into effect - I don’t think there is any possibility you will keep tariffs on EU for any substantial amount of time - it is not dolls and cheap crap you buy from us - it is advanced machinery, luxury items, expensive cars, Pharmaceuticals etc. (15% tax on top can make a simple purchase million dollars more expensive) - what would be the end goal of that ? The reason you buy these are because you either can’t make it or we make it way cheaper or better than you could - and it is stuff you need to have (with some of them and if you are rich want to have with the rest)

  Retail coffee prices in the US in August jumped nearly 21% compared to the same month last year — the largest annual jump since October 1997, according to the latest Consumer Price Index.

 Nearly 99% of coffee consumed in the US is imported - most from Brazil, according to the National Coffee Association - where trump has a 50% tariff in place, which hasn't yet fully worked into the prices.
