There's NO question that some higher-ups made some really bad decisions.  I just don't think this will escalate into a major scandal.

The Washington Times is reporting ....

PHOENIX, January 29, 2012?President Obama’s Attorney General, Eric Holder, had the Department of Justice dump more documents relating to botched Operation Fast and Furious on congressional officials late Friday night. The documents reveal that Holder learned of the death of Border Patrol agent, Brian Terry, on the day it happened.

Hey conservative guys here,  thanks for keeping this thread alive with data.  AZ official is taking the 5th at Holder's request.

Funny how Holder's investigation in to .....well himself....has not produced a single word yet.  does he get a year to check himself out?  2 years? 50?

A Republican Attorney General would be in jail over this. How did Reno get away with using US tanks on th Branch Davidians in Waco? How does Holder get away with Fast and Furious?

Dr.J read an article in the NY post today about Fast and Furious that said....
....something’s clearly rotten at the Justice Department. The stench goes all the way to the top — to Holder.
 
That's about right ,but Holder is not the top ...

Obama needs to dump Holder, he's beginning to be a liability.  Remember, Bush dumped Rumsfeld.

Rep. Issa is getting serious.

In a four-page letter to Holder, Committee Chairman Issa R-Calif., claims the Department of Justice has "misrepresented facts and misled Congress," which began its investigation of Operation Fast and Furious one year ago.

Issa wrote that Holder's "actions lead us to conclude that the department is actively engaged in a cover-up" because it refuses to comply with previous subpoenas. 

"If the department continues to obstruct the congressional inquiry by not providing documents and information, this committee will have no alternative but to move forward with proceedings to hold you in contempt of Congress," Issa warned in the letter.

Well Holder lied of course
3 options
1) turn over docs
2) write a legal reason as to why not with a summary, and be in danger of having that thrown out and charged with contempt
3) charged with contempt

“THIS IS FOR YOU SON,” Mrs. Terry posted on Facebook at about 3:30 p.m. “Mr. Holder. How come you can never say my sons name. You never have. All i ever hear you say is ‘i didnt find out or I cant say’ Im actually tired of hearing your double talk in answering questions. What a joke you are. You know my son was a real AMERICAN, a WARRIOR, and a HERO, who was also protecting COWARD POLITICANS like you.”

“Hope you remember that,” Mrs. Terry added in her message to Holder before signing it: “PROUD MOM OF BRIAN A. TERRY.”

And I think he will later in this election year as he realizes how tight the race will be. 

 I think Barry admires how militantly black Holder is and wishes he could be more like him. Obama is huge box with Daddy issues.  Nothing like Holder at all.
