This was a new one to me. I’ve mostly been able to miss hearing about this? A little bit of googling… This came from JD didn’t it? Why am I not surprised? I said to myself, “is he seriously talking about people eating pets? Cats and dogs? Really?”
Again having listened to it on the radio, Trump came off as ranty and unhinged, and Harris sounded confident, calm, and in control of the situation. Like a president. The abortion answer was a master stroke. And she pushed every single one of his buttons, mostly to good effect……I should have known Harris would win by just showing up!
If I am on Trump’s debate team, I am considering a new line of work if another debate happens. At this point can Donald Trump win ? I don’t think so!

Yeah. I'm on the fence on this one but leaning to Harris campaign saying no to another debate.
I don't see an upside for Harris! BIG waste of time that could be MUCH BETTER SPENT on the campaign trail (rather than preparing for round 2) especially in key swing states!! She's the underdog and cannot afford to miss time on the trail. It's far too critical to American democracy!
Like you said, she already hit the grand slam homerun!
Besides, the twice-impeached rapist/fraud's handlers may be slow but not all of them are stupid. They would have their CONVICTED FELON boss much better prepared because now they have the game film from this devastating loss. Next time, they would ensure to force Kamala on the defensive at all times and it would be effective! She can't gain any further from more debates; trump meanwhile has only one way to go. An upset loss to himin October in an ill-advised 2nd debate - together with the loss of time to spend in key swing states - would almost guarantee a trump presidency.
Harris campaign would be foolish to engage further...

He did have some policy just not always when asked for that, his problem is he gets hung up on previous comments and the obvious talking points.
He talked about China building EV car plants in Mexico, didn't specify but quick search has MG, BYD, CHery and all those cars are coming to US.

honest answer, Harris did much better than expected. Trump was his usual self, the eating cats and dogs comment

There have been comments on Harris had an ear piece in her right ear, but as crazy as Trump seems to the Left he did stand his ground against 3 haters tonight. The questions were good but not great, I think it was a fair debate all around.

I didnt watch, those ABC teleprompt readers were not really what is required when dealing with a guy like Trump. To accomplish a true debate there needs to be a discussion of ideas and policy, things that have an impact for citizens but when Trump is involved that never happens. So I saved 90 min or whatever and as I mentioned before the event the outcome was predictable and quite lame.
Trump has a massive fault, a flaw that he cannot overcome and that is himself. He came unprepared thinking he can use his alleged superior trash skills and win by insulting and generalizing his opponent. The problem for Trump is that in the arena of politics he is out of his league, this isnt The Apprentice or some beauty contest or his social media platform where he controls every aspect of the event. He greatly underestimated the intelligence and skill of his opponent, its like he forgot that she has a long history of being a lawyer and defending a position and there is mountains of examples of Trump out there, he never mixes it up he always wanders he is always extremely under prepared and he was a sitting duck to a skilled experienced speaker who will not be bullied by his zero ego condescending attacks. Harris from the beginning handshake was respectful, truthful, direct and prepared. All the things I am sure Trump's advisors tried to suggest he be but that cannot happen with someone who has no ability to listen to others and must control all the narrative, he cannot win a factual and policy based debate.
I didnt watch but the snippets I did see were just confirmation of the flaws he will always have and that will continue to be exposed, and good for Harris she prepared and stood strong against this tyrant and did a great job.

Gotta love all the trump people that believe if trump wins, then the prices companies charge us for their products will magically come down. This is never gonna happen in a million years, because no President democrat or republican controls what companies charge for the products. Companies price gouged all of us during covid and got us used to higher prices and now they arent gonna lower their prices ever. People should watch the dominos commerical where the ceo talks about companies using the shrink inflation on us, but dominos is actually giving their customers bigger pizzas. I give that man credit for exposing all the slimy companies ripping all of us, with their record profits. I know so many people who believe trump will lower product prices, it becomes downright comical listening to these people talk. Thats when you fully know trump has them brain washed with his bullshit.

For the record no one won that debate. Both were dreadfully awful. Trump couldn’t stay on point and Harris can’t explain her position adequately, as I am not even sure she is smart enough to understand it.
Only thing that happened last night is we all lost with literally the worst two choices in candidates in American history. See I can be real about what I saw. I don’t make up BS or become a cheerleader for either side because my dumb ass party says I should, unlike the rocket scientists in this forum.
Oh and both lied plenty. Again we are all so fucked. Literally watched two pathetic people argue with no actual point 99% of the time.
