I was wondering if the racist asshole in the Oval was going to cancel tomorrow's JUNETEENTH day of celebration or somehow impede anything related.

It would be just like der Führer, of course, but even if he doesn't DIRECTLY, he may still mock/deride the day in some unwarranted racist transgression.....but so far I am not aware that he has

It marks the date when the union army reached Galveston and basically proclaimed to, what symbolically represented the further outposts of slavery, and proclaimed that slavery had ended. More on Juneteeth, when you go back in the day, black people always viewed Juneteenth as more observance than a holiday. It was a cause for celebration and there were always events, but it wasn't looked upon a holiday such as Easter or the 4th of July. So seeing it as such now, seeing a bunch of middle-aged white dudes wish themselves happy Juneteenth is wild. Growing up, we never wished each other "Happy Juneteenth", even though it was a big event in my area every year. I think thst is a somewhat recent trend.

No offense to any middle-aged white dudes. I've got love for all of you.

In first term, taco Trump pretended to support Juneteenth.  Now instead of honoring Juneteenth, he completely ignores it.  This shows he uses a "bait and switch" strategy.  His political philosophy embraces deception, cruelty and immorality to achieve selfish goals.  Previously, Trump said he knew nothing about project 2025.  Now his administration follows its policies such as rejecting DEI, cutting medicaid and using immigration raids.
