Elon Musk’s massive 2018 pay package from Tesla — which was worth $56 billion and helped catapult him to the title of richest man in the world — must be rescinded, a Delaware judge reaffirmed Monday.

Kathaleen St. J. McCormick of the Delaware Court of Chancery ruled that Tesla, which asked her to reconsider her original ruling in January, failed to prove that its compensation plan for the Tesla CEO was fair. She stuck with her original decision that the company’s board was under too much influence from Musk when it approved the massive payment in the form of stock options.

Elon Musk is still the richest man in the world .. with an estimated net worth of US$314 billion as of November 2024,

Putting the 2018 pay package from Tesla aside ..Musk made 90 billion since BB President Trump was elected...

    @Midnight1

However, do we want someone getting tons of government money making the decisions as to what gets cut & what doesn't?

Are you talking about DOGE ??  The Elon / Vivek tag team ??

Elon is on record already that the government subsidies will be ended.  For all companies.  He wants Tesla to compete on the open playing field and allegedly ending the Tesla subsidies along with every other car company subsidy will help achieve this and boost Tesla's market standing.  At this time I do not know enough on this subject to comment further.

You will not survive here. You are not a wolf, and this is the land of wolves now...

For sure the military budget is way overblown

    Must be trimmed

We are saving a lot from the Trump war in Afghanistan after Joe Biden got us the hell out of there (saving the $300 million per day Trump was spending) but our military budget is still far too high

Tennessee State Senator Ken Yager pissed in his pants when police pulled him over for a suspected DUI. He was charged with a hit & run, running a stop sign & the DUI. He called it an "unfortunate" situation.

    Ahh, you think??

Before we start cutting defense spending...we need to resupply our. defense stockpiles which are significantly depleted..After Joe Biden gave Ukraine...Stingers, Javelins, HIMARS, and 155mm howitzers and a multitude of other weapons..

The Pentagon said we “have a long ways to go” to beef up its munitions stockpiles and ensure the country is ready for any large-scale war.

After the stock pile is rebuilt then we may be able to see where to cut fat ..but NOT till then..

History does not agree with you............

    To start with ...

President George W. Bush  announced that the US launched attacks against Afghanistan after 9/11  the US military officially launched Operation Endearing Freedom....Then Pres. Obama dramatically ramped up the U.S. presence in Afghanistan, from a little over 30,000 to more than 100,000 troops at the peak in 2011.

President Trump was the only President that planned a withdraw from the war..

President Biden did withdraw from Afghanistan ,but in his chaotic withdraw he allowed a suicide bomber to set off an explosion outside the Kabul airport that killed at least 12 U.S. troops and wounded 15 others.

the Trump war in Afghanistan ..indeed

Get it the facts straight and stop spewing liberal misinformation and woke propaganda..

I swear, liberals are to the point of just pulling stuff out of their arse. Literally just making things up. Anything to cope, I guess.

When Assad got to Russia, he was warmly greeted by Putin & was shown where he would be sleeping.

Putin said "Bashar, come enjoy the view from this window that is open for no apparent reason."

Forgot to mention this sooner but Saturday is Wreaths Across America.

Wreaths all across America will be placed on the graves of American Veterans including at Arlington Cemetery. Over 4,500 locations will participate & so can you. At the cost of $17 you can sponsor a wreath being placed & you can do it online. I'm not schilling here, just sharing.

As you can imagine, the need for wreaths grows each year. Involve your kids and grandchildren so they can understand the sacrifices made by these wonderful men & women. Make a beautiful day of it with your family.
