I would say it is "Die Quickly" but the kicker is the GOP is even against assisted suicide. So - they won't help you and they won't let you die! No wonder they're down to 24% in the polls, 24%....and dropping, I believe the one released last week was from Dean Clancy — VP of Public Policy at FreedomWorks

"Insurers Should Just Charge Really Sick People More"

Why do we need anything else. If the messiah BO has created it, it must be accepted without question. I found out friday my rates are going up around 300 percent with almost double deductible. It amazes me the hero worship thst exists for this guy.

The GOP Plan is to let the free market dictate the prices.

If you don't like free market economics then you probably prefer Obamacare.

That is not a plan.  It does nothing to solve the problem of pre-existing medical conditions or the millions of uninsured invading hospital emergency rooms.

Republicans kicking the medical can down the road again.

You say this but what really does it mean to you?

I think you know my view on the subject, I'd like to hear a serious reply about what free markets means with regards to healthcare or really anything economic.

You are smart..do you care that HC inflation has outpaced general inflation by a large multiple for the last two decades?

What is the plan for why healthcare as a percentage of our incomes and expenses is growing and growing, nothing is stopping it.

So...what is your counter to the ACA?

If that is a legit arguement then why no bit*ching about school taxes? Or fire taxes ,911 fees and a host of other taxes and fees that some people will never use.

What is the plan for why healthcare as a percentage of our incomes and expenses is growing and growing, nothing is stopping it. I think if we have tort reform and cap Awards that will keep down cost for the insurance company.

Whether they pass that on to consumers or not is another story

So...what is your counter to the ACA? I think the biggest folly of the ACA is it relies on 20 somethings to fund it.

I'm not sure at the costs that I have seen projected whether they can afford that or not so I think many will be taking the penalty.

that being said, how about taking away the individual mandate.

If it is a good enough plan that will save everybody money, people will naturally be drawn to it.

They shouldn't have to buy it with a gun to their head.

This is exactly what I mean by the free market.

If it is so good companies and individuals shouldn't be mandated. They'll be "drawn to it."

    psst...

There is no such thing as free markets. Free markets means full disclosure and transparency, MODEST profit and both sides gain evenly from the transaction.

Are you in school right now?

I see you and Alex discussing what you dont like but I have not yet seen ANY solution from ANY republican outside tort reform. The reason tort even exists is due to the private sector destroying the citizen and the citizen needing to litigate due to performance.

So..I asked you above, answer the message outside the generalist free market snoozer..

Its hard to pull off making two points, neither of which is either supported by facts or accuracy, but you pulled it off nicely.

As to point A, lets presume for one moment that is true (which is isn't), how would that be different from the system in place before Obama that gave us the highest health insurance costs in the world in proportion to income.

As to point B, perhaps you should better understand the exchange program which is exactly that...insurance companies offering competing prices for your business.

Perhaps you should better understand the facts before relying upon Faux News for your talking points.

If we take away the mandate, how do we reduce unpaid medical expenses that have increased 5000% since EMTALA was established, which directly increases the costs for all of us?

Brows, you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make them drink..  The repulsicans are drinking the Hannity/Rush Kool-Aid.

But they'll catch on eventually ( I think ! ).... I remember that we had the same type whining back in the 1960s about Medicare.. They are seniors now and enjoying it.

A first impression can have a lasting impact and the Obamacare introduction is making a negative first impression...

The health care system needed reform ..but each major aspect of the health care system should have been debated in Congress and voted on individually ...before being signed into law.

A one party solution to this problem is doomed to collapse...

Common sense will tell you,, that forcing Government run socialized medicine on the American people is absurd and is not the solution...

As the public learns more and more about the details and consequences of President Obama’s health care medicine, they will clearly demand a second opinion....

All of my solutions are going to be from a free market angle. I'm going off of what the experts say. I consider experts to be doctors and executives in the medical field, not an economics professor from Harvard.

I always hear if there was tort reform it would minimize the costs doctors and insurance companies charge. And when I say tort reform it doesn't excuse doctors or insurance companies from screwing people over. If someone has a legitimate lawsuit then they should be allowed to pursuit it. I'm talking about frivolous lawsuits.

I also hear if insurance companies were able to compete across state lines it would minimize costs. Individuals/Companies can shop their coverages which would force companies to lower their costs to compete with each other.

Those two ideas don't sound good to ya?
