I saw the pictures. Look definitively like a noose. I'm an expert in knots. There's no reason for the pull cord to be tied in that way. If you look at the before picture, you can clearly see the line is the same length as the adjacent garage, except tied in a noose. In tne after picture you can see that the noose and some of the line has been cut and taken. Probably as evidence. It's clear as day to anyone that knows their knots.

A lynching is a hate crime. If never spelled out in Federal law it is probably because every state has laws against murder, which is a state jurisdiction, not federal. Don't use semantics to find loopholes in the law. Occasionally sanity and reason have to prevail.

For one, Wallace never even saw the the thing. A crew member found in and reported it to Nascar officials. They cut it down before he even made it to the track. I know a noose when I see one. I've tied a few myself in my day. And anyone that knows anything about knots knows you don't tie a noose as a handle. A noose slips. That's the point. Look at the adjacent garage. No "hand hold" there, right? These are just facts. LikeI said, I couldn't care less about this story and this is the first i've even acknowledged it.

When I first got to Florida, we would go up to Lake Okeechobee & fish the canals that fed the lake & we walked through cane fields to some choice fishing spots when 7 or 8 lb bass were being caught regularly. That doesn't happen now.
On at least 2 occasions we saw nooses hanging from trees. We never went close enough to check the knots but I'm pretty damn sure they were nooses. Central & western was seriously redneck back then (little better now) but seeing that rope was chilling and sent a message to those working in the cane fields.

A noose is unmistakable, mid, and it's nature makes it a horrible "hand loop". Like I said, if you needed a hand loop (Why would you? None of the othe garages did.) If you needed a loop, you'd tie a bowline. Literally one of, if not the most recognizable knots their is. Doesn't slip. Tightens under load.

You misunderstand and this is the last i'll explain myself to you because I don't like you, and I don't respect you. I think you're full of shit. A fraud... but I digress.
It was never a "guy getting out of line has to be sent a message" kind of thing. There was nothing to hash out man to man. It was a very old school work environment. The opposite of PC. Guys would say a lot of crazy shit, nothing was off limits. Have a rail for breakfast, a whiskey for lunch. A few more for dinner. All while working our asses off. You had to be tough as nails. A throw back to a forgotten time. The place was a time warp in an ever changing world. We'd get kids in and you gotta see what they're made of. We were able to get away with what we did because we were good at our job and nobody rocked the boat. We didn't need some 19 year old kid falling ass backwards into a six figure job, being too much of a soft ass to cut it, then crying to human resources, to the union hall when they're shown the door. Hang a noose in someones locker and if he goes to shit and cries about it, he probably wouldn't fit in anyway. You can find out something about his character in minutes rather than months. We all busted each others's ball. We made racist jokes. Dick jokes, whatever but when it was time to get things done....

Your right Stump, at least according to Bubba Wallace. He says he never saw it, not allowed in the garage (COVID rules) and he said it was tied in noose fashion. No other garage had one tied in noose fashion. It was tied long before his car was assigned that garage bay so.......that leaves the door open for you to say a racial hater tied that rope last year.
You know the problem with any racial tension that exists today, IMO, comes from this; The Nation banned the hateful N-word, and it IS HATEFUL. Healing is not the goal. They have a strong dislike for America. Why nobody tearing down the pyramid or sphinx? Those was made by more slaves who were enslaved for longer time and had worse working conditions and probably treated in an unfairly way. Other European countries and even Australia had activities. Why? I'm guessing since it is anAfrican country ,and since the slave industry started and was glorified there, nobody wants to acknowledge that. Start from the beginning not halfway or last section.

The pyramids weren't built by slaves. Only in the movies. Archaeology doesn't support this.
