Guys like Tox, and even you sometimes for that matter, bring up these points that are so full of anectdotal evidence and generalities that it is at times hard to even take them seriously. Cherry picking the first generation offspring of the immigrants of one African country (a small sample size i'm sure) and contrasting them against the entirety of everyone of African descent in this country is ludicrous and doesn't really warrant a serious answer. Half the questions posed for debate on this site don't warrant real ponderance. This is why Slim and I joke so much. Most of the questions Tox asks are borderline rhetorical but if I must give a real answer to questions which don't deserve, here goes.
For one, most children of immigrants, excluding refugees and those from countries that share a commom land mass with the US (including South America, which is only seperated by a man made canal, most children of immigrants have high rates of success. It is not easy to immigrate into the US, especially when not seeking asylum or simply sneeking across a border. The parents of these children are usually professionals of some means, immigration is extremely expensive, and usually have very high scholastic standards for their children. Speaking of high scholastic standards, Americans, in general and regardless of race, are falling behind other countries on the education front. We are raising lazy, unmotivated children obsessed with electronic, internet capable devices. We've fallen behind in both education and extracurriculars. How many American chidren play an instrument compared to 50 years ago? How many speak a second language, not counting one spoken in the household predominantly? Immigrants from many African countries like their counterparts from many European countries and many Asian countries, do better because they are 1. Pushed harder. 2. Often have resources afforded them to facilitate doing better. These children often do better than American born whites as well. We like to paint this picture of white America that is one of prosperity, of the fodder of Norman Rockwell paintings but frankly, a large portion of that is the upper 5% bringing up the average. Their are plenty of people of European decent struggling in this country, especially in the South and Midwest/rust belt, and they are being swept under the rug. That is one part of the answer. A real answer to a question that frankly didn't deserve one.

I find it very odd that he stalks me and has something to say, some unsolicited commentary, for every comment I make but when I called him a draft dodger, this fake veteran bit his tongue like a sucka. I've never met a veteran that would stand for being labeled a draft dodger and I would never even dream of alleging it unless I thought there was a real chance it was true. Again, you've proven you can dish it out but are pretty fragile when the same is returned to you. You & Slim had full run in this forum while I was away & of course I read what was going on & you would have to if in the same situation. I don't like either of you & I make it perfectly clear. You're right. I have accumulated a rather large number of posts in a relatively short time frame. Once upon a time I rarely ever posted in these forums. I've used this website since the beginning but back then I had a different profile connected to a different email address, none of which I have passwords to today, and I only posted sporadically in the college football forums. I was never banned. Just let the profiles and emails go dormant and forgot about them. About 4 years ago I bought a house in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I knew I had set myself up for a life of constant back and forth travel, my business still being in California, and so when I moved I took a sabbatical of sorts to enjoy a new house in a new state. In this time I started to read post more in the forums outside of college football. Outside of sports in general. I had read the racist comments that used to be rampant in the old politica forums, the old p.box but thet never upset me on incited me to respond. What did upset me was an internet social justice warrior of the worst kind. A guy who took it upon himself to not only to be a defender of black people in the "bigoted world that is covers", he took it upon himself to be the voice of black people. He, a white dude in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey. While I acknowledged his heart being in the right place, I would often simply point out flaws in some of his rationalities. I would also point out that while his fight is valiant, he often compartmentalized an entire race, spoke of things he had know actual knowledge of, and made easily debunked and haphazard points. Simply put, I would tell him while it was his right to speak up for black people, he had no right to speak for black people. That is, from the perspective of black people because he lacked said perspective. He was a white dude from the sticks of New Jersey. He didn't like that. He also hated the fact that while he's hoped i'd be the Robin to his Batman, or some weirdo shite like that, I actually built raport with some of these guys he proclaimed racists. He really didn't like that. He would say stuff like, "They'd never invite you in for tea..." and "I'd get invited to the BBQ..." "What would Big Mama say?" complete ridiculous and asinine things. What resulted were epic knockdown, drag out arguments that anyone here who witnessed would tell you were the stuff of legends. We would go at it real time and sometimes run up 50, 100 posts in a day. This is the reason my post count is high. All because of a series of debates and all out arguments on race and race relations, in the world and on covers, with everyone's favorite social justice warrior and one of covers all-time most memorable posters. He was definitely the most polarizing. You are becoming like him. He would comment on things like how many views and posts a thread started by a particular member would get compared to those started by him. What kind of sick individual cares about such things? The best part is even he and I, before his eventual banning, had found some semblance of civility. You see I, like most men, don't feed on drama. I detest it. You relish it. You court it. It's the reason you have issues with multiple members and all of those members only have issurs with just you. You are the X-factor. It is the reason you were boxed. Not me. Not Rush. Not Slim.

I was told that black people in America are stuck in poverty because of the color of their skin. Now I see that Nigerians are out here thriving. I’m also seeing that Indian Americans are the most successful group in the United States. Something isn’t adding up.
