But if, as trump claims, he declassified everything with his mind and also had every right to retain any and all documents he removed from the WH, why would he direct his maintenance guy to drain the pool in attempt to destroy his servers (remember Hillary anyone??)  and when that failed he entered into a conspiracy with his aide and maintenance man to move and conceal the boxes from areas where there was security cameras????  I mean if it was all legal and innocent for him to have those documents, as he insists???

Trump tried first to determine if de Oliviera was "loyal" and a "Trump guy."  Trump then tried desperately to coverup his crime, including asking the Security camera IT  how long his Mar-A-Lago servers retain the video footage just after he got a subpoena ordering that no security footage be destroyed, removed or altered.

The Mar-a-Lago employee referenced in the superseding
indictment adding major accusations against former
President Donald Trump and a new co-defendant to the
case has been identified by two people close to the
investigation as Yuscil Taveras, an information technology worker.

Taveras oversaw the surveillance camera footage at the property.

Taveras is at the center of the new accusations added to
the indictment, including an exchange he had with De Oliveira
on June 27, 2022. In that conversation, De Oliveira asked to
have a private discussion in an “audio closet” with Taveras,
including questioning how long the footage from the security
tapes lasted and whether it could be deleted.

 Evidently, Tavares didn't have the security approval to do anything with the video. He needed to contact Head of Security Michael Calamari.

If  you remember, Calamari already was part of a squid pro quo for this testimony

Fulton County DA says work is done in Trump probe and ‘we’re ready to go!’

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis
reaffirmed in a local news interview that she will announce
charging decisions by September 1 in her investigation into
efforts by Donald Trump and his allies to overturn Georgia’s
2020 presidential election result

“The work is accomplished,” Willis told CNN affiliate WXIA
at a back-to-school event over the weekend.
“We’ve been working for two and half years. We’re ready to go!”

Willis said that people may not be happy with her upcoming
announcements and “sometimes when people are unhappy,
they might act in a way that could create harm.”

business dealings with President Biden,” Goldman said.
