Hey All...If you take a look at this Baltimore Sun report from 5 days ago, looks like Lamar hasn't gotten the vaccine yet. I bolded a couple of sentences in the report because the NFL policy says unvaxxed players have to be tested every day in camp...and if vaxxed already then players only need to be tested every 14 days. Per the report, Lamar had been getting tested daily from last Wednesday 7/21 thru Tuesday 7/27. Story written next day 7/28 after Harbaugh notified media.
Baltimore Sun - Wed. July 28th:
"Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss the start of training camp, coach John Harbaugh announced Wednesday.
It’s the second time since November the 2019 NFL Most Valuable Player has caught the virus, which sidelined him for a Week 12 road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Harbaugh revealed Jackson’s diagnosis after the team’s first practice, along with announcing that running back Gus Edwards, who was also absent from the session, had contracted the virus. Harbaugh, however, did not provide a timeline for when either player would return to practice. ESPN reported that Edwards would miss the first 10 days of training camp.
Jackson had begun testing last Wednesday for the virus upon reporting to the team’s Owings Mills facility, Harbaugh said, and had tested negative up until Tuesday.
According to NFL policy for the 2021 season, vaccinated players only have to undergo testing once every 14 days. Unvaccinated players must undergo a rapid PCR test upon their arrival to camp and continue to test every day like last season.
In June, Jackson declined to say whether or not he is vaccinated, calling it a personal choice."

Good info...three cheers to Lamar, Cole and to the other athletes and anyone else who has the guts to stick to their guns and not knuckle under to tyranny and the authoritarians. I prefer to keep the original immune system that God gave me and not throw the dice on what is still an experimental vaccine (Moderna and Pfizer) that have not been officially approved.
Even if it is approved by some Fauci esque clown, I will not take it. Others have taken this messenger RNA which has caused the creation of a spike protein which led to brain swellings, severe neck pain, and paralysis in two guys that I know speak the truth (Jimmy Dore and Eric Clapton).
There are alternative covid treatments that some doctors have successfully used to treat their infected patients including the use of Ivermectin and the Hydroxy cocktail. Lots of success stories abound on the internet concerning both of those alternative treatments.

My older brother is in a hospital in Florida and he is fighting pneumonia which they say could be covid related...about 6 months ago he started off with the Pfizer primary shot and then waited the prescribed time (21 days) for the Pfizer booster shot. His decision of course.
He is up there in age (79) and now he is being given meds and oxygen to stay alive...I spoke to him yesterday on the phone and he told me that he was weak and not hungry.
I am wondering if the meds are messing with his liver in which case a person's hunger for food evaporates. I know this from personal experience.
Compounding his problems is that his cancer was in remission recently but his numbers were going up again. What worries me is that he sounded worried which is out of character for him but certainly understandable. He was always the quiet one but a doer with a heart of gold.
My brother was a mechanical wonder, he could fix anything. When he was but a young man, neighbors would come to him for solutions to their problems...one time he put a Cadillac engine in an old mercury and drag raced it in Mercer, Pa.
He later became a jet mechanic after a stint in the air force...worked for major airlines for over 30 years. He has been a faithful friend to me all of my life.
