The following headline is from the front page of Steve Quayle. Coronavirus could lead to drug shortages in the US. About 90% of generics made in the US require components from China.
Since the 90's the politicians have shipped manufacturing everywhere in the world.  They have been pro immigration for the cheap labor for years.  I know its the Corps but the lawmakers make policy and take the donations from the corps.  Rare earth metals, electrical generators , ETC is so dependant on China. BUt our leaders have hung us out to suck it.  But hey its all about global warming.      Sheeple eat this shit up.  When I was a kid we were heading for an ice age.

Maybe Trump can buy Greenland back from Bloomberg.

My prayer circle starts if we elect Sanders.

Wallstreet.    I expected a well written economic synopsis from you. Instead we got partisan garbage from you!

If you have time. Try again.

Easy Call ?  He was ridiculed by both China and the WHO for barring entry of Chinese nationals almost 1 month ago, because it was deemed as unnecessary !!   Absolutely ridiculous.    How many other countries took these proactive measures ??

The run on the banks start tomorrow. I will be in line for a withdrawal. I will ask for nothing but $5 bills.

My morning will begin with the Fox Business Network. Then I will take a healthy dose of vitamin C to help protect myself from the bio weapon called the coronavirus.

There should be plenty of cheerleaders on the various news and financial networks tomorrow morning. The cheerleaders will tell us yo buy, buy buy.

Anyway. To say the least. We are in very interesting times.

Yeah anything to support the clown even when he makes yet another stupid decision. Pence isnt the right person for this or most any responsibility and his past shows that.

The market is not down much at all especially given the fake ten year ramp we have been on...this is about forcing the hand of the FED and the market drastically underestimating a potential issue.

I never get shocked at the daily stupidity and single mindedness that is Trump. Using your flawed post, how could anyone use this situation as a whipping horse against the DNC and the media? Trump sets the bar on the ground he is such a dimwit.

I think you need to stick with what you do best and that is liberal bashing, no need to try and discuss big topics like economics when you can follow your leader and cry about the media or how your pet stock market is actually down a few days in a row.

Historical decline? You think a few days of selling after ten years of non-stop buying is historic selling?

I've been through two historic selling events, this is not at all historic. The .com drop and 9-11 drop were historic...this is a run of the mill drop trying to force the hand of the FED.

My feeling is the move needs to be much more severe because all these people who either have never seen a down market or have forgotten it are trained seals expecting everything to bounce back after a few hours...people like me remember after the .com drop the market did not return for a long long time, it took years of meandering before buyers came back. If you look at the market and do so seriously prices are so exaggerated now there is ZERO reason to be buying, especially tech. Is Tesla down to 80 yet? Is Amazon down to 100 or Google retraced even a small ammt of their monster gain?

This is nothing...I have not spent a single second looking at the market, its still massively bloated and the way the BK King came running to try and save it makes me laugh.

What is most worrisome is if/when this virus moves to India, THAT will be a terrible thing for many reasons.

    One more thing...

Our "outstanding" GDP has STILL been hovering in the low 2's and that is with the massive tax breaks and gimmies, historic debt and historic low interest rate environment...still we are in the 2's and that equates to the stock market at 26k?

How high should the PE ratios be with corporate debt at historic highs, government debt at historic highs and going higher, GDP in the 2's and consumer debt at historic highs, delinquencies starting to pop up and savings at all time lows.

How exactly does the market deserve to be at these levels? What is a reasonable PE ratio for this market with the serious garbage numbers and debt we have now? I dont see value here outside energy...nothing has value. Suckers are forced into this market to chase return and suckers get burnt...this is nothing, suckers are stepping in and cost averaging down expecting to get rewarded....silly fake investors. Lets see if the market punishes these fools.

Coca Cola has announced the virus has disrupted their artificial sweetener supply chain from China which will affect the production of Diet Coke at a certain point in time.

It's a good time for Trump to find something healthier to drink.

Trump wants wants to control the message sent to the American public via Pastor Pence. Pence is going to clear the message coming from the science community???

That's OK but I'll get my information from the Enemy of the People.

Thank you wsc! I woke up and shook the cob webs out. I turned on Maria Barteroma and we are looking at another down day Futures currently down about 376 or 1.46,%. Historic sell off!

Gold at $1628. I haven't watched any other financial network this morning. No cheerleading on the Fox Business Network. More fear than anything else!

When do the run on the banks start? Do every day Americans know what is going on?

Maria Barteroma signed off for the weekend. Stuart Varney takes over and calls the situation a 'rolling crash!'

Futures were down 600 earlier. Currently down 380.
