You talking about this POS?

2000: During his congressional campaign, Mike Pence said, “Congress should oppose any effort to put gay and lesbian relationships on an equal legal status with heterosexual marriage.”

2000: Pence also supported the reauthorization of the Ryan White Care Act only if federal dollars were excluded from organizations who “celebrate” and “encourage” behavior that facilitates spreading of the HIV virus. Further, Pence supported this reauthorization only if “those institutions provided assistance to those looking to change their sexual behavior”, an off-the-cuff endorsement for ex-gay conversion therapy.

2004: Mike Pence co-sponsored a proposed amendment to the U.S. Constitution that would define marriage as solely between one man and one woman.

2007: Pence voted against the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA).

2010: Mike Pence voted against the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” repeal which allowed LGBT Americans to openly serve their country in military service.

2012: Pence refused to say on the record if he supported a same-sex couple raising a child together.
2014: Gov. Pence supported HJR-3, a bill to add an amendment banning same-sex marriage to Indiana’s Constitution.
2015: Governor Pence signed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act in a closed-door ceremony surrounded by special interest lobbyists.
2015: Governor Pence said on ABC’s “This Week” that it was “absolutely not” a mistake to sign RFRA, throwing Indiana into a $250 million economic panic and putting Indiana’s “Hoosier Hospitality” reputation in jeopardy.
2015: Even after his approval rating plummets from RFRA, Mike Pence on July 22 told the media he is “studying” the issue of LGBT rights and whether or not he’d support across the board protections for the LGBT community.

The county isn’t paying for it. The tests are being paid for by an international biomedical company whose executives have a residence in Telluride. There are about 8,000 residents. Talk about catching a break. Never quite sure why a well person not showing any symptoms would want to waste a test that could be used by someone that might be infected. So is your best plan to test everyone that is well?  Do you know how many people that would be?  Then you are wasting valuable tests.   Then how do you know they are not exposed and sick the day after they get the test?  What do you do — test every well person once a week?  How many tests do you think are going to be needed under your plan? Raiders..you know that's not correct because you questioned me when I gave the data regarding the 5 masks per million. At that time I said it wasn't necessary to test everyone. Do you remember that? So why are you saying it is a lucky thing to live in Telluride if you feel that way?  Isn’t that what they are okay with? OK, my point is that the wealthy/connected can always get what they want when they want it. As a result, the people in Telluride can "get" a test if they need one unlike the rest of the country because of their executive neighbors. So are you for them getting tests or not?  Don’t care if they are rich or lucky.  I’m sure the whole town is not rich. Someone has to work shops and cafes there.

Raiders...look at my answer above...they should get a test if they need one unlike other Americans who can't get tested.

Because he did something right, no way erases the harm he has brought to this country with his lies and reckless leadership.

Question for you now...are you OK with the lies he continues to tell the country about supplies & vaccine availability?

The Governor of Mississippi, Tate Reeves,  won't close his beaches.

He has told his constituents to "pray away the virus." That's like laying down on the railroad tracks and praying the train won't come.

People like this in a leadership role are extremely dangerous during a national emergency.

Raderpug. You are showing me Vice President Pence was very consistent as a conservative representing his Congressional district.

It would like me showing you examples of a liberal. The following is one basic example.

Your son will be allowed to take a leak next to your neighbors daughter should he wake up 1 morning 'feeling' like a girl.

Again

VP Pence is doing a tremendous job helping America destroy the Chinese coronavirus.

My wife has a friend who's the Manager at one of the busiest Starbucks in Florida. The store is located near the airport, Port Everglades (cruise ships) & the ocean (hotels). Their business is down 80% but Starbucks is stepping up for their employees. They are purely take-out now.

Those coming to work will get $2 per hour more. Those who need to stay home will get 30 days of at full pay. Those needing child care will get up to $500 per month.

So?  He does not support the gay lifestyle and apparently does not want policies passed that advocate its acceptance into the mainstream.

You are trying to compare something that was preventable and something that a person understood and could avoid — with something that is passed from person to person through everyday, normal interaction and can be very dicey to avoid.

I get that you don’t like Pence at all — but that is not the correct way to delineate his position vs policy that is good for the nation in a crisis.

Yes, I saw it the first time.  And with all the rest of your add ons — it looked you you inferred they could all get them (sick or not) and implied that that was a good thing.

I simply think they should distribute the tests to where the sick folks.  Telluride is not overly infected that I know of.

If you were simply pointing out that Telluride had enough tests to test all citizens — cool.  But, maybe they have an inordinate amount and should send to the ones that truly need them.

Fair enough if you were just pointing it out. peace_5

It just amazes me that the Left refuse to give the guy any credit when something he does is correct or good.  They have to make it back-handed and qualify it and then say all the bad along with it.  Just weird to me.

If you think he is knowingly lying about that at a time like this — I think the onus has to be on you, without a doubt.

I hope the folks he is listening to have told him these things and they are starting to actually do these things.  Maybe there is hyperbole to assuage folks — but hard to call them outright lies.

So, again, the onus is on you to be specific and with certitude when you assert these things. Otherwise, you do understand what it sounds like, I hope?

Proclaimed? an_roll_laugh

What took so long for him to "act" on his proclamation?

Sure.  That is what it is officially called. confused

You can go to the Whitehouse link and read the ‘Proclamation’. I tried to post the link but apparently you can’t post links right now.

Not sure by what you mean by taking so long to act?  Friday proclaimed and took affect Sunday.

The networks turned off Trump's press conference today when Trump tried to turn it into one of his rallies.

If the networks don't see Dr. Fauci on the stage, they shouldn't televise Trump lying again to the country.

Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick on trust fund baby Tucker Carlson's show..."Grandparents would be willing to die to save the economy for their grandchildren."

Most of us don't have to die to take care of our families but sure, I'd do it.

But for the economy???? He's outta his farking mind!

Maybe in Texas, they don't care if grandma and grandpa dies.

The stock market will recover. Dead people not so much.

This is the next man up?

Bits of article:

After the pandemic abates, Biden vows on his website to prepare for the next health emergency, by creating a “permanent, professional, sufficiently resourced public health and first responder system…”

One wonders why the Obama-Biden administration failed to do that, especially since the H1N1 aka swine flu outbreak (and Ebola) occurred under their watch, revealing many deficiencies.

Biden frequently boasts that his management of the swine flu epidemic should convince voters that he is better equipped than Trump to combat the coronavirus. That disease, which broke out in 2009, infected 60.8 million Americans, hospitalized 274,000 and killed 12,469, according to the CDC.

Midnite - What's your opinion on the 1400 page house bill the Dems know won't get passed because they just can't bring themselves

to deal with the Pandemic separately and try to help the American people. I know your the only one in this forum that has

probably read the whole thing! I find it disgraceful but not at all surprised.  What say you?
