CNN - President Donald Trump on Sunday did not dismiss the idea of pursuing a third term in the White House, despite the 22nd Amendment of the Constitution prohibiting it, claiming that “there are methods” to achieving this ...

and emphasizing that he was “not joking.”

The 22nd Amendment to the Constitution, which was ratified in 1951, states:

“No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice.”

then maybe the fascist asswipe will try to stay in power illegally without an election

Vice President JD Vance could run in 2028 and then

But Steve Bannon, a top outside accomplice to the [fascist/convicted felon], has suggested that Trump is eligible since the amendment doesn’t specify “consecutive” terms.

Although the night before Trump incited an insurrection Bannon did leak that an insurrection was coming the very next day 

 I guess it's much easier by turning democracy to autocracy, but much harder conversely.

The only restrictions to serve as U.S. president in the U.S Constitution are:

Must be at least 35 years old

Must be a natural-born citizen who has lived in the U.S. for at least 14 years

Felony convictions are not mentioned in the U.S Constitution..

The wording of Ogles’ proposal would exclude two-term former presidents such as Barack Obama from coming out of retirement.

Trump has frequently teased a third presidency term.
