Xi was not present at the airport to greet Obama either at Obama's last two visits.  It is not protocol so don't read too much into that 

The Felon has said he is friends with him and Putin, I believe they look at him and just twist him up to get anything they want. They know what he is and how to play the DUMB MFer! Trump Xi summit is just political theater ending with no diplomatic breakthorough.  No solid commitments.  No signed agreement.  In contrast, other presidents send advance teams to negotiate a deal first before meeting of leaders.

Polls already show countries seeing US as a greater threat to the world than China.  Trump trade war forces countries to diversify away from US by establishing economic ties elsewhere.  If they lose confidence in US dollar, Americans could pay more for borrowing money in the future.

Trump says China promises to buy more agricultural and other products from the US.  But China has made similar promises before which cannot be guaranteed when consumers and businesses make purchases instead of government.
