In Maine any law enforcement shooting has always been justified as ruled by the attorney general office.
How ever this specific case only shooting is still being determined.
Protocol for local police is a 90 day paid leave as the fact finders find them justified which is 100 percent of the time for the history of the state.
It will be interesting due to the election environment if law enforcement shooting will be handled any differently than the thousand that set president.
