During the riots 175,000 doses of opiates were stolen from 27 pharmacies during looting in April... a single dose of OxyContin now goes for $30 in the area..
With the drug dealers oversupplied there's a drug war going on in Baltimore....gangs battling for market share.

For a guy that claims to be sooooo informed and educated, Detox is either playing dumb or really is. And now, we have to explain what a "single dose means"? Really?
A "joint" is a term used for a marijuana cigarette. A "line" is a line of cocaine, usually 1-2 inches in length approx 1/8" wide. A "fix" is something a junkie calls when its time to get high. A "nickel bag" is $5 worth of pot. Oxycontin is synthetic heroin and comes in a pill form that can be taken orally or crushed up and snorted. Your welcome in advance for the information in the event anything else comes up that you have no clue about.

Back to the issue at hand... The pharmacies weren't a blip on the radar as far as the illegal drug trade goes in a city like Baltimore. That's a fact Jack and if you think otherwise you're just showing that you don't have much of a clue.

Do you understand that they looted many pharmacies that contained A LOT of drugs these fiends & dealers cherish? It's indisputable that all that candy on the street is fueling much of this epidemic of violence. Everyone there is trumpeting this. Please tell me that you won't argue with those facts. There's just no argument here.
Your quite young, this explains more to me. There's no substitute for experience.
I'm glad you got cleaned up and had a support system to make it possible, many are not that fortunate.

My original statement still stands... $6.4M for a dead convicted heroin dealer is now the going rate...
Who has heard of a settlement like this before the trial? Could you imagine being a business owner there? City government tells the cops to stand down and let them burn & pillage "it's only property", and then makes a settlement of this amount that the residents/business owners of the community will pay for!
Please someone tell me they've heard of a case like this settled in 4 months before the accused had their day in court. Come on Detox, go through those books and find one.

The Mayor will not run for re-election. Perhaps she thinks she has a future on the national political scene since she's done such a bang up job thus far.
I guess this is as close as I'll get to a "resignation". Maybe after the next round of riots (the Baltimore 6 cops are due in court in October) ensue that incompetent/activist prosecutor will be forced to resign.
