Is it true that trump actually got down on one knee to beg the Taliban for a truce until he could evacuate by May?

Agreed Biden was in horrible spot and ultimately made the correct decision ……. He shouldn’t have claimed though that they would be able to take on the Taliban without the US…. In my view, the fact that they didn’t even fight supports that Biden was right to get out and that we should have never gone there in the first place

This is major. God literally just shoved a pipe bomb up the keister of the cabal and lit a fast moving fuse. BOOM! All credibility went out the window in a nano-second. Even the Left knows it. The fake Covid narrative just took a backseat to reality. EVERYTHING horrible those monsters have done to we the people is now magnified 1000 time over. Why? Because Kabul is going to be a bloodbath. Prayers for the trapped Americans. This is horrific, but O'Biden and crew OWN IT in spades. MILLEY! YOU are toast ace. Somebody is going under the bus to save Biden and it may be many.

History,  Afghanistan has been at war since at least 3000  bc it controls the land route from the silk road trade.

China traded with Europe and Egypt via an overland land road called the silk road.

The area has been conquered ruled and retake through out time. Wars with India Mesopotamia Babylon Greece time the monguls huns Russia Britain Pakistan and when not warring with others then an ongoing civil war reemerges.

Afghanistan is locked in an ongoing conflict.

Same problems poverty lack of education and the intolerance of women or intellectuals has led the government back to Sunni Taliban control.

China traded with Afghanistan for many centuries.  Each holding kin to Attila the hun and ganges Khan the seem to be warming the idea of future trade agreements if the Taliban can bring peace to the country.  Chinese investments are within reach.... Afghanistan is sitting on the largest oil field in the world. No way to extract it or utilize the resource hence Chinese investments are needed to harness the commodity.

Can you imagine the fake outrage Democrats would be spewing if Trump left Afghanistan like this?

Democrats aren’t capable of being honest with themselves.

    I laugh.

The Taliban’s official spokesman has a blue tick Twitter account.

Former president of the USA, Donald Trump’s account is suspended.

That’s where we are at right now.

Cost of damage caused by 9-11:
    2,977 lives
    $40 billion

    Cost of the reaction:
    400,000 + lives (10,000+ Americans)
    $4 trillion +
    20 years “War on Terror”
The Patriot Act, creation of the TSA, DHS, reduction of freedoms, tarnished global reputation
    Creation of new terrorists

    Sells out our allies.    AGAIN!

Since trump's meeting with them in Feb 2020 the Taliban have had  1.5 years to prepare for this departure.

"The fact that the Taliban is using US-based servers to run its terror state and nobody in the Biden Administration has thought to disconnect it, even as U.S. forces flee in disarray, is a strategic blunder on par with Pearl Harbor."

Sorry yes Bush and idiot Cheney deserve most of the blame but Obama and Dems have their hands all over this. While I give Biden credit for getting us out he’s deservedly getting skewered cuz he represented that the Afghans could do it on their own .

Exactly.  KUDOS! We had to get the hell out of that disaster.

Trump was going to take us out by May 1, but the American public kicked him out of office.

Either way we are getting out of a 20 year occupation/nation building we NEVER should have gotten into in the first place.

Only regret I have is the Biden admin could and should have quietly begun rescuing our Afghan allies out of there much earlier  - before announcing withdrawal date.

    My god…

This thread is worse than I could’ve imagined.  Some of you might as well live on the moon based on your perceptions of reality.
Your Holographic leader will address our Nation in about 30 mins.  Let’s see if he will take any accountability for this generational debacle.  The blowhards around here sure want to put blame on people who haven’t been in control of these decisions in years…

Give Fupah and his clan some time, their own media brethren cannot even protect this administration from this foreign policy disaster.  The national media and international cannot and will not cover up the reality and truth of this epic policy blunder.  They are currently all in denial.  The wave that is coming they will not be able to defend.
