Democrats withdraw endorsements of Eric Swalwell
Rep. Eric Swalwell’s bid for the California governor’s office was reeling as his campaign was halted on the main Democratic fundraising platform and top Democratic supporters withdrew their endorsements and urged him to drop out of the race in the wake of allegations of sexual misconduct.
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she had told Swalwell to end his bid, and House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries called on him to drop out.
California Sen. Adam Schiff and Arizona Sen. Ruben Gallego, both longtime allies, said they were withdrawing their endorsements. Swalwell’s campaign co-chair, Rep. Jimmy Gomez, said he’d quit the position.
CNN: Four women describe sexual misconduct by California Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell, including a former staffer who says he raped her.
Multiple other staffers quit the campaign Friday,
and those remaining are trying to find other jobs,
according to a source with knowledge of the matter.
“The behavior detailed in these reports is abhorrent,
beneath the dignity of those serving in public office
and betrays the trust of all Californians,” read an
unusual joint statement from senior staffers for
Swalwell’s gubernatorial campaign and his
congressional office on Saturday.

Some of the video they have doesnt look horrible, but it's all context....however if he sent the nude photos to staffers then he's not showing himself in a good light...this could be bad for him...very bad....
This guy probably wasn't going to win anyway, as he is kind of a dope and not entirely sure he shed the whole China spy name tag years ago...leven so, he was the leadng Democrat in the race, but it looks like California may go to one of the 2 Republicans..I don't think it matters, as California has been in trouble for far too long...
