Dem states nj and pa also sent sick patients back into nursing homes? Trump forced them?   repub states like florida had common sense and did not do this.  Over half the deaths in usa are from the nursing homes.

as virus mortality rate surges

The death rate has been accelerating in recent weeks as cases have
been surging across the country.

In the last four weeks there has been a 42 percent increase in the number
of fatalities, from a weekly average of 821 per day in early October to
last week’s average of 1,167 DEATHS per day.

No-lockdown Sweden

But in the forseeable future while we wait for those vaccines to become WIDELY distributed (March- April) we can anticipate 2,000 to 3,000 deaths EVERY SINGLE DAY for at least 4 more months! 

Even after the vaccines become available that does NOT mean everyone or even HALF the populace will take it.

Which means more deaths will continue after March-April.

(bearing in mind the vaccines themselves are NOT 100% effective - so some will still die)

the scary part to me is I see an exponential rise in testing (Delaware) bc of Thanksgiving. I see a rise in positive results but the % testing positive was holding steady at around 4.5%. That says many, many people are positive and don't know it. Contact tracing says restaurants, religious services, house parties (fuking idiots) are the top problem areas. I assume these are the problems in other states as well.
