tourney, about 12/13 people left.  im not so stacked but not bad, 8600 in chips.  binds are 300-600  folds around to me i make it 1600 to go(KhQh), everyone folds except the big blind who calls the 1000 raise.

    flop comes KJQ 2 diamonds

i check, she bets 2000, i go all in for 7000 total, she thinks for a few seconds, then makes the call as she has about 2 to 3 thousand in chips left.

i show top two thinking she must be on the flush draw, nope she has J10 offsuit no diamonds

sure enough she gets an Ace on the river.  good call by her i say and walk away, but really WTF was she thinking.  after the flop maybe i can justify the 2000 bet she made to try and steal the pot....but to call the 1000 preflop raise with J10 offsuit heads up....thats not so good of a call.  with a bigger pot i'd say yes ok...really she getting 2.5 to 1 odds calling preflop, but J10 offsuit...

and then flop comes she has bottom pair with open ender, but 2 diamonds are up and i read her on a draw, i just thought she was flush draw not strait draw, so i check raised all in.  can't belive she made the call, if she did have the flush draw then maybe i can see calling my all in even tough she still wasn't getting good odds(just over 2-1) but she didn't.

bottom line, over 3/4 of her stack called on a big preflop raise, and then on a check raise all in.

would you have made the call

    Fuck no!

She should be dragged into the street and beaten! I hate when you get beat by someone making a call that they had no business making. It was a terrible call and 9 out of 10 times she loses.

Maybe, just maybe you make the call on a flush draw, not with that shit. You played it exactly like you should have.

She's an idiot.  The longer she plays poker, the quicker she'll be finding that out.

I think you should've gone ALL-IN after the flop and NOT checked to her.  She probably felt pot committed after she was check-raised.  She still could have called you, but it would've been unlikely.  You have to figure your 2-pair is probably the best hand after the flop, and you shouldn't check to let another diamond or straight card come out.  And if she did have you beat after the flop, you still had outs with a K or Q.  With your low chip stacks and being heads up, you just have to tip your cap if she outflopped and busted you.

i know guys, and the more i get beat with these hands and people like this i think it happens more times after the flop...and i think im going to try to see the turn to eliminate  the outs after the turn.  sometime they may get more outs after the turn...but i find if i try to push out a flush draw on the flop with two of a suit showing they have 2 cards to come and call more often then if i bet reasonable to see the turn then push.  in this case if i just called her 2000 id oviously fold with an A on the turn....

i know if im on a 4 flush draw right after the flop, and the pot is juiced with an all in or 2 make me want to call

i know guys, and the more i get beat with these hands and people like this i think it happens more times after the flop...and i think im going to try to see the turn to eliminate  the outs after the turn.  sometime they may get more outs after the turn...but i find if i try to push out a flush draw on the flop with two of a suit showing they have 2 cards to come and call more often then if i bet reasonable to see the turn then push.  in this case if i just called her 2000 id oviously fold with an A on the turn....

i know if im on a 4 flush draw right after the flop, and the pot is juiced with an all in or 2 make me want to call

I agree with wizard; KQ suited is not that strong a hand and when you checked with it I would have called you all day long with my J10 crappier hand.  When you have a hand that is Ok not very strong you have to play it like it is strong or dumb asses will call you to their grave.

    flop comes KJQ 2 diamonds

i check, she bets 2000, i go all in for 7000 total, she thinks for a few seconds, then makes the call as she has about 2 to 3 thousand in chips left.

i show top two thinking she must be on the flush draw, nope she has J10 offsuit no diamonds

sure enough she gets an Ace on the river.  good call by her i say and walk away, but really WTF was she thinking.  after the flop maybe i can justify the 2000 bet she made to try and steal the pot....but to call the 1000 preflop raise with J10 offsuit heads up....thats not so good of a call.  with a bigger pot i'd say yes ok...really she getting 2.5 to 1 odds calling preflop, but J10 offsuit...

and then flop comes she has bottom pair with open ender, but 2 diamonds are up and i read her on a draw, i just thought she was flush draw not strait draw, so i check raised all in.  can't belive she made the call, if she did have the flush draw then maybe i can see calling my all in even tough she still wasn't getting good odds(just over 2-1) but she didn't.

bottom line, over 3/4 of her stack called on a big preflop raise, and then on a check raise all in.

would you have made the call

You played out of turn anyway

Last time I looked the big blind would declare first, thus not opening up to a check raise

freakin stupid. apparently ur small blind and u barely even raise it and j10 offsuit isnt even that bad a hand when its just the blinds maybe if you made a real raise you win the pot preflop.  2ndly i think you have to bet the flop its a terrible board to slowplay and try and give a free card on.  i hate her bet on the flop.  when you check i would think you either completely whiff with like a mid pair or nail the flop completely.  she didnt exactly miss the flop she has a pair and a draw to the nutstraight, and she probably commits herself almost when she bets 2000.  if she makes that bet she has to call the 7000.  why bet with not a great hand and so many outs if you dont intend to call 5000 more?  so really, i think you both played it terribly. if i had her hand it woulda went check check after i called the weak 1000 bet preflop depending on the turn card you woulda small since you thought you were as good as gold i woulda called and got there on the river against you.
