Who is going to play in the WSOP this year????

I realize that I start this thread every year, but I think this is the year I am going to go play in the main event.

 

Anyone else going?

 

I have always wanted to and timing just has never worked out, but this is the year.  It would be fun to have a covers team in the main event.

Maybe covers would sponsor us with Polo Shirts.

I think i'm done trying to win a seat for this year and I don't have 10k to blow so i guess i won't be there. 

covers should sponsor people (the ones who post on here and are in vegas) for some of the smaller events

Covers really should sponsor people.  If one of us got on ESPN it would be well worth it.

there might be a 50/50 I'll be there for the wsop.  I'll probably try to get in with one of those single table satellites.  Noway I'm dropping 10k.

Well we should have a covers get together at the palm or something one night.

But unfortunately I could never do it in a casino as I'm not old enough and couldn't afford to play with him...

I'm gonna play a couple of events at the Borgata Summer Open here on the East Coast.  Should be some pretty large fields.  Anyone gonna play the June 14th 500$?  I'll be there.

I will NOT be going this year, or any other year unless it is very convenient for me to go.

 

If this thing was in my city, I would play every year.  Its not the money.  Its the hassle.  Oh, and add to that I have ZERO patience for poker.

 

Perfect example today.  I won a satellite to play in the big 370 entry satellite at PS and Im doing fine, about 2.5 hrs in, and I just get incredibly bored and dont want to play anymore.  So I do stupid things on purpose.  Basically dumping, and Im the chip leader at my table.

 

If I cant play for 3 hours at home there is no way I can play over 7 days all day at the tables.  I have to realize my limitations and poker is one of them.  I know I am a fairly decent player but I cannot play if I dont want to, and at least 80% of the time I end up dumping my chips.

 

GL to anyone going.  I will play one year, but its going to have to be built around a vacation because Im not going to vegas for a 3 hour run, which inevitably it will be.

 

playing live is diff than playing on the computer...live you tend to care more about the chips...computer only a click away...just a thought.

I agree with skinvin...playing live goes by quicker i think because you see less hands. Thats my personal experience.
