the answer is no. as a beginner you should not be basing your decisions solely on an odds calculator. starting out you need to get a feel for the game and gain reads on your opponents. a calculator is only going to tell you the math of your hands which is not a true indicator of how you should play the hand. you can hold the worst hand in poker 72offsuit and still bluff the opponent who has any two random cards preflop. its all based on reading your opponent. once you gain a sense of the game and your opponents then you can use the calculator to make tough calls in tourneys.
