Well, most sites if you click on the player's name, you can write notes about them. You know that much, right?

Anyway, I write all sorts of notes on players. Whether they're tight, aggressive, maniacs, donkeys, whatever. Just writing down and knowing their tendencies helps in future games.

yeah, i know....the same thing i am doing too...but wanted to know what kind of notes you write. It help for future games for sure, but with that many players, i rarely go in a same game with someone with a note

Mad_Skillz: I don't play at a huge place like Fulltilt or Pokerstars, so I'm always playing the same people it seems. Any kind of information helps.

I'm well aware of the HUD. I was just curious which one he was using, if there are different versions or whatnot.

You should check out some reviews of poker software.  They would most likely help you out.  I started by making notes on the players as I was going along, but found that software was much more efficient.

I used to read stats off some site of unknown players I was playing against, and it always seemed to mess me up. I tend to do better after playing people a few sessions, granted I've never used a HUD, maybe it would help.

hold em manager is the one that runs smoothest.

most heavy multi-tablers seem to use HoldEm Manager from what I've read out there.  it also has a 15 day trial period to check it out.  You will have to take the time to learn what all the numbers mean and how to use the program, it has a ton of stuff in it.  Not sure what sites it works on other than the major ones.
