Is it bad form that when you get down to heads up in a s-n-g or MTT to just keep going all-in?

Some say it is, but I do it all the time, I'm stealing blinds and all the while hoping they don't call tell I actually have a good hand, not when I'm bluffing with 2, 3 off suit.

Depends on blind levels .... if the blinds aren't that high and you run into an experienced player you're going to walk into something sooner or later.

Yeah I know that but really at that point since i usually play 10 player or more sit and go's i don't really care about the extra money. By the time it gets down that far I've already wasted an hour or so to win 25-50 bucks. I'll settle with second place in the instance that someone does have a really good hand when I do it, but even then in heads up i feel 2 cards are 2 cards, either player has about the same chance at winning.

As long as they don't have a 2, 3, or a pair, you're in business.  Better to have 23 than A3 in that spot.

Don't Underestimate the 2-3, Thats JORDAN BABY!!!  Sounds like you aren't much of an experienced player seeing that you think in HU Play that 2 cards are cards an either player has the same chance at winning

it's true online. In live games I would definitely not say that, but with the way online games are played it seems to me that any 2 cards heads up are good enough to win.

ive seen 5 7 off suit beat pocket aces.

I've seen ive seen jack 10 get dominated by a set on the slop only to pull out a flush or straight flush on the river.

On-line and live are totally different and you have to adapt you're game play.

it's true online. In live games I would definitely not say that, but with the way online games are played it seems to me that any 2 cards heads up are good enough to win.

Thats mainly just cause online games have streaks.
They also can't account for all the nuances of live play, as in bad shuffling, switching decks after a certain amount of hands.

I would like to get my hands on one of the online sites poker software and review the code though. Might explain some things.

For now when i wanna bet big money I'll take my ass to the casino less then a half hour from here.

True, I totally agree.  Just like online when they want to speed a tourney up, they can.  I was in a hand in a $32,000 guaranteed tourney and had been playing for nearly 5 hours and still had yet to reach the money when I was dealt 99 SB, sitting with avg. stack.  When 3 people who acted before me had already shoved All-in.  So I Folded only to see that 1 guy had AA, 1 had KK, and the other had JJ.

In MTT, or 9 man sng, i might understand a little on shoving with anything when its HU play.  But I wouldn't recommend you signing up for a HU match and play with that startegy, because you might get lucky a time or 2 but in the long run you will get burnt

GL, what site you play on????

I would never do that signing up for a hu match.

I'm on fulltilt, bodog, and pokerstars.

I like bodogs design the best. Fulltilts is pretty horrible but you can make the most money there as it's rare you'll get a table full of experienced people.

Just started poker stars kind of indifferent, had a couple bad beats, it seems like every tourney is full at anytime though so i'm assuming the skill level isnt the best for most of the people on there.

Probably like playing a tourney at Motor city casino, wanted to shoot myself.

Main reason i like bodog is cause of western union, hate waiting for a damn check then waiting for it to clear.

yea, i played stars for a long time then switched to FTP because all my buddies switched there. You can make a killing off FTP, like you said, alot of inexperienced and newbie players on there.  But they have the worst beats that I've ever seen. lol.

    GL out there
