    Jamie Gold

Can this guy not fold an ace, i think he played every single ace that he got, no matter a2, to AA, and a raise, no matter. Man he is way out of place at that table. His plays are so obvious and he just gets called down every single time.

I also love how he calls Ramdin's all in with kd10d when he had no reason too, sure he likes to gamble, but i dont know what hes hoping for him to have there, maybe a coinflip with like 88 at best. I really cant see a hand like ak, aq, aj.

My favorite part though was how mike matusow actually said what everyone was thinking to themselves, jamie gold cannot play.

"Yeah ill tell them hes a nice guy and all but he cant play cards", dont remember the exact quote, something like taht, but regardless

Jamie Gold won the World Series of Poker Main Event        I'd like to see anybody in this thread do that.

Somebody taking something Mike Matuszow says seriously.    That guy is the biggest idiot on the planet.

I'll never forget when Matuszow was hasseling Greg Raymer at the WSOP and an hour later Raymer busts him out.    Raymer is probably 100 times better poker player than Matuszow.

All Matuszow is is a drug addict and big mouth.      Guy will be broke and homeless one day.   You can count on it.     He's a creation of TV.

ok gayhound, you are retarded, when the line skips its a new point, i dont think that mike matusow is good at all, but i think he is better than jamie...

Regardless, now that i think about it, yeah when matusow wins, it usually is skill, when he wins, he may get one miracle outdraw, but of all the "pros", and i dont mean to give credit to matusow, when he wins a tourny or something, he doesnt get THAT good cards. He may get saved once but he is one of the "pros" that doesnt always depend on cards.

Im not saying matusow is a good player, or even worthy of a pro status, but he is a big name in poker and id say there is a handful on players worse than him.

How funny was it in episode two when Gabe Kaplin sat down with the boys and Doyle gave him $100 000?

Wasn't that right after Doyle said he wouldn't give Jamie Gold any money?

I love when somebody watches a few TV shows with a pro on it and think they know everything about them.

when he wins, he may get one miracle outdraw, but of all the "pros", and i dont mean to give credit to matusow, when he wins a tourny or something, he doesnt get THAT good cards. He may get saved once but he is one of the "pros" that doesnt always depend on cards.

Really? Do you watch every hand he plays? Are you really qualified to make that statement?

I love when some dip trys to come in here and make an intelligent statement. You are just a complete tool for coming in here with that shit, Ya i would say that i am qualified to make that statement, Ive probably watched about 30+ episodes with him on it and he probably plays 8-15 hands a showing, so that translates to 240-450 hands ive seen him play in. Am i qualified now?

    Am i qualified now?

    No.

You watched someone play about the equivalent of about one session of poker.

before you try to trot in here and play off like you know what you are talking about

    That's a little ironic.

come on bro, this guy joined like a month ago and talks out his ass, and you give him the attention he so desperately craves.  listen to yourself man, your arguing over jamie gold.  you know hes garbage, i know hes garbage, and anyone who knows poker knows hes garbage.  dont lower yourself to a level where you are giving some teenager the attention that his mommy and daddy never gave him.

Alright, I'll requote you from my initial post.

when he wins, he may get one miracle outdraw, but of all the "pros", and i dont mean to give credit to matusow, when he wins a tourny or something, he doesnt get THAT good cards. He may get saved once but he is one of the "pros" that doesnt always depend on cards.

He will, in the long run, get the same cards everybody else does. He doesn't win in spite of the cards.

To say that when he wins a tournament he doesn't get "that good cards" can be no more than a guess. You aren't watching every hand of the entire tournament, you are only seeing highlights. THIS is why you are not qualified to make that statement.

how many sessions do you have to watch to make a judgement on someones playing ability

To judge a players ability, sometimes only a few orbits. But to make that particular statement, a lot.

im done wasting my time with you

Good. I won't even look in this thread again.
