I swear you never see as many losses on the river in live poker as you do in online poker. I just recently opened an account online after not having played it for 5+ years.... jsut realized why i quite playing... i swear that stuff is rigged

i am not saying it is rigged in the sense that the sites have bots playing (which might be true) I am saying it is rigged in the sense that the "random" card generator tries to pit hands against each other in order to increase action, go play at a cash game and you will figure it out.

Of course its rigged, Blatantly so. Take a look at this video. Then to to youtube and type in the search box "rigged online poker". Lots of good examples and discussions. I know how and why its rigged the way it is. Talking about all online poker sites.

Of course its rigged, Blatantly so. Take a look at this video. Then to to youtube and type in the search box "rigged online poker". Lots of good examples and discussions. I know how and why its rigged the way it is. Talking about all online poker sites.

"1,360,000 hands. That is how many hands we have tracked on PokerStars.com."

I didn't see where they posted the hand histories...

Also, here's a PTR study that shows Stars having the highest concentration of winning players. We shouldn't stay away from Stars because it's rigged but because the players there are better than on other sites.

Or does Stars rig itself to have more winners?

Soblatant, sooner or later you are going to realize that saying the same thing ONLY LOUDER is not going to convince people... when we make a claim (poker is rigged) we logically accept the burden of proof. Of which, you offer none.

More noise than signal there, really...

"In 70/30 situations things get even worse.  The lesser of the two hands wins a whopping 41% of the time, a full 10% more than it should!  With more than 475,000 hands to analyze, this is more than a simple statistical anomaly.  This is downright fradulent."

I don't think it's shocking to get a deviation of 10% over 475k hands and I don't think 475k is a large enough sample to rule out statistical anomaly.

    Also, where are the hands?

"Upon looking closer at Ax hands we found that the weaker Ax beat the better Ax (i.e. A4 beating AK) about 4% more than it should.  We also found than Ax vs a pocket pair beat the pocket pair more than 12% more often than it should!"

More than it should? They don't show their work... What was their calculated expectation?

The following is sarcasm: I have a study that shows the exact opposite of every study you have. Everything you believe is wrong, and I can prove it, BUT I will not show you my data or how I calculated my results.

Mr. Glue go play in a chas game for a couple hours.... I can't tell you how often I see a trailing player hit a card on the river or turn and you can't help but wonder, it seems like dead ends always hit a card on the turn or river.... they do it to increase action and increase pot sizes so that they can increase rake.

You have to keep in mind how many more hands you see when playing online than live. I just stick to playing online for fun and a few tournaments or low stakes cash games.

Essentially, you are claiming that online poker sites do not deal random cards on the turn/river. Instead, they give a selected card that helps whichever player is behind. Their intent is to maximize pot size and increase their collected rake. Right?

Your evidence to support this claim is, "I can't tell you how often I see a trailing player hit a card on the river or turn..." and it seems like dead ends always hit a card on the turn or river..." Right?

If you can't tell me how often something happens then how am supposed to figure out if it is happening too often?

over 63 hands online in one cash game sitting i hit pocket aces 3 times.... the odds of getting pocket aces is 221 to 1 or 0.45%, using those odds the odds of getting pocket aces three times would be roughly 500,000 to 1 or 0.0002%
