I just spoke to Men the Master on the phone. Yay.

This was pretty funny, just happened, not like its a big deal or anything:

 

My friend is out playing in the main event.  Today was his day 1. Calls me after the third break, "i busted out, bad beat, guy turned a flush, blah blah blah."  As hes kind of griping and bitching, he says "hey, theres Men the master".  I asked him something like "is he surrounded by hot girls" , "No, hes by himself."  I had been tracking the tourney online, and had just noticed that Men had just busted out, so I said "watch out, hes probably pissed"  Next thing I hear  Men the master in the background, I hear my friend say something about me being a big fan ( i could care less about him)  Next thing I hear Men The Master say something like "Hey, hows it going bahdy?" in his pretty distinctive accent.  Im 99% sure it was him, and my friend wouldn't lie to me.  I ramble off some shit like "Men you're the best, I love watching you play" - he says something about how he flopped a set of threes vs a set of nines, and thats how he busted out.  Actually takes like a minute to tell the story LOL.  To which I respond something like "Oh, that sucks man, what can you do, you're still the  best." or something.  Then he says something about "All you can eat baby" and asks if Im coming down next year.  I say something about coming down and playing with my friend hes talking to.  He then says something like "So when you get your money all in, next year in the main event, what will you say?"  I think about it for a second, and then said " All you can eat baby!".  He starts cracking up, mumbles something, and my friend comes back on the line.   Pretty random.
