I think it's perfectly alright for people to wear glasses at $0.25/$0.50 limit. For those that criticise, remember, it's their lunch money we're talking about.

I play live occasionally ranging from 3-6 all the way up to 40-80. I don't play for a living and just enjoy playing poker. I have no problem with the guys wearing the shades in the low limit games. I mean, why should you care? There is a poker boom going on now and you'll find all different types of personalities. The table I played at yesterday was drastically different from the one I played at 10 years ago. Just enjoy the game, and if it bothers you that much just don't play the lower limits.
that is all

It doesnt bother me, I find it hilarious. Easier to spot the donk when he has the galsses on, like I said, 90% of the guys wearing shades are the biggest donk at the table

I agree they look ridiculous chancep. I reread your thread and you never said you ridicule them live, so I apologize if I gave you the wrong impression. I just don't like to see the donkeys scared away.

Keep in mind that some of the really good most well known players wear sun glasses.. i'm pretty sure those guys arent "the biggest donks" at the table..
Not arguing the fact that they arent usually a fashion statement just pointing that out to yall

Let me clarify. It's not the sunglasses per se that pisses me off. It's the people who add to it with the acts of staring you down and all that garbage....like they are playing the whole bit. Jackasses don't even know what a squeeze play or post oak bluff is, but they sure don't mind staring you down to see if they should call your $10 bet.

That reminds me of when I was playing 2/4 limit at the flamingo. shorthanded game and I raised it up with AJ suited, this guy next to me stared at me for 2 minutes then re-raised. In a no limit game I would just stare at the felt but when I saw this guy just staring at me I started laughing, I couldn't contain myself. I mean it's fucking 2/4 limit and I raised what tell do you need to call a $2 bet?
I just said "you knows that makes it only $2 more to me right?" then I called. The funniest part was the dealer kept on repeating "call, raise, or fold"

Funny Post. Most of the guys who wear them are complete losers. Every so often I will wear mine for a few different reasons. 1.) I live in a cold weather city and have a cool pair of Versace shades that I never get to wear 2.) Despite all of the cards I have played, I sometimes get nervous at the table and the glasses reduce my apprehension
Hilarious post though. These guys are so funny.

offensive goaltendings take place at least 2-3 times a game. if you don't know what it is, you either don't watch basketball or don't care to learn the game.
