Good article from cardplayer. Gus Hansen is down 16.4 million now in his online career more than doubling the second biggest loser. Since 2012 he is down 13.2 million. Last year he lost 8.4 million and he is down 1.5 million this year. Where is he getting all this money from? His life time tourney earnings are only 9. some million. Don't understand how he can keep playing these high stakes games either they are fraudulent or he must have a money printing machine somewhere.

Not too surprising considering the way he plays little suited connectors like they were AA. He got lucky for a while but everything always evens out in the end. Thanks for sharing this news, always wondered when he would go bust

Cant be that lucky. Gus's strategy worked out for him. But since the internetkids are wizards Gus is having a ruff time keeping up with the styles that changed the game.
Also hes on the FTP team, they sure give him a nice check every month :)

You're right, didn't think about all the endorsements he gets. Still with his style of play, one cold streak could be disastrous to his bankroll

No he didn't. He's been broke for years. The loss are the unlucky people/idiots who are staking him. Hey at least he had 13.2 mill to lose.

No one knows how much money Gus has except for Gus.
What is clear (and sad) is that he is out classed in the games/stakes he is playing in and won't quit beating his head against the wall. Now down 18.5 million since 2007 with a high water mark of +2.2 million in 2009... it's been all down hill for five years.
Give it up Gus.
