Hello, hello- giving a call to CS will always do the trick in situations like this, but Bodog Poker does still offer $500 freerolls...it was just one of the rebuy tournaments which was temporarily unavailable for the last two days due to a technical issue with the latest Bodog Poker update.  The issues have since been resolved, so the $500 freeroll should be available again soon.
