Question

I need you to accept my friend requests;  I want to discuss this blackjack strategy I saw you post in a recent blog.  I&#x27;ve used one very similar a few years back and kind of forgot it....  It looks very similar to the one you posted.  &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Also, has anyone ever won on BetEd. blackjack?   I usually dont play online but have been working on a system and have been going down to Central City/Blackhawk  (near Vail Colorado) and it has been working pretty well - still tweaking though.  So, last night I throw a $100 into BetEd and decide to try it.... betting starting at $5 with my goal to stop once i reached $150.   Anyway I played for about 20 minutes (maybe) literally won 5 or 6 HANDS the whole time - stuck to my strategy - and was done.   They won about 40 hands to my 6...  I understand losing and bad streaks but that was over the top IMO.    Thats happened to me before and I said I would never do it again, but have been reading some blogs where people were saying its legit.   I just dont believe it but maybe it was just a really bad run of cards.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Thoughts?

Just go to "my account"  then "my page" and about half way down there will be a link for pending friend request.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Anyway, the system you posted in someones thread recently:  $5, $5, $10, 10, etc...    that is similar to the one that I use to play but cant remember.  Is that one of the best systems you found?  Any other ones I can look into?  Any good book recommendations?   I&#x27;m an average player but looking to get a little better - not quite ready for the card counting system quite yet but just looking for a top notch strategy to stick to at this point.  I live in Colorado - have always loved playing - but wasnt able to because of the $5 max bet they had at the casinos.  Anyway a law just passed about a week or two ago bumping it up to a $100 max.      So, the way I see it with your system you are basically trying to hit a run of at least 7 or 8.... correct?

This system probably doesnt work as well at places where there is a table max of $100. There are going to be plenty of times when your streak gets up over $100 and it caps the really good nights when you put a table limit out there. I usually only get to play out in vegas and I would say every trip out there you will end up with atleast one streak of atleast 7 or 8 if not more. It helps to be able to keep uping the bet after every other win.

If you are still looking for a book to read, the only book on blackjack I have ever read was Bringing Down the House. It is a really entertaining read. If your looking for a book on sports betting, check out The Odds and Smart Money. Both are very entertaining books.
