sure luck is involved and anyone can win any tournament but y do u think all the same top pros always make the most final tables most of the time ........its because of their skill level

get lucky and win one or two , but the cream is always rising to the top and that aint just because their lucky

i dont know how people can discount the fact that in a game where cards are shuffled then flipped over at random that luck is a huge part of the game

and yes i said HUGE...sure u can play right, tight , whatever it still comes down to having the best hand a lot of the time

luck does have a significant role in poker.....but knowing how to optimize that luck seperates most winners from also rans.......and yes sometimes it's better to be lucky than talented....but not over the long haul .
