Anyone play on sportsbook poker?

Seeing this whole gold chip/card thing has me kind of intrigued.

I got 50 chips for signing up and have earned afew since. Ive gotten 3 gold cards as well. What are people's experiences with the gold chips and cards etc. How often do your gold cards get put to use???

i once asked on a table i was playing, and one guy said he had a Jack......again though, i doubt any are around, I mean, after 2 years i dont have anything higher than an 8????

 

Next time you are playing a cash game, randomly ask what is the highest gold card you have?  I doubt anyone will say anthing of note.

 

I play on 1/2 NL, although i hear if you play on 2/4, 5/10 you do have a higher chance of higher gold cards, and you do get gold chips based on rake so naturally you accumulate gold chips much faster......

i have been on sportsbook poker since its change over from paradise poker. what HG says is correct....

the higher the limits you play, the higher the chance of getting high gold cards.  in all my time there, take in mind i typically play the mtts and sngs, i have 11 gold cards. not many, but i don't play cash nearly as much.  when you play cash games you accumulate them much, much faster.  i play around the same limits as HG and i have one 6, two 5s, and a bunch of 2s and 3s.



i think i am going to start asking people at the table about their collections and see what others have. good idea.

if you guys don't mind me asking, how often do you play and at what limits to get that many gold coins and cards?

 

yeah but the shitty part of those low card mtt's is that they are rebuy tounrey's.
