anyone ever take the donkey test?

never even heard about it until i saw the world series last night, gonna do it today will tell you how it went.

just did it, said i scored better then 85% of the people who took it,which is about what i thought i would get.  i did very very well on the tournament questions scoring better then 99.8% but very bad on the big pairs questions scoring only better then 6%?  i was about where i thought i would be in all areas except this big pairs area.  i was distracted when taking this test but very interesting and pretty accurate although some of the situations i was put in were tough, tougher then i would be putting myself into.  would like to hear how some of you other guys do on this.

that big pairs area really killed my score everywhere else i think i was at least 55%

i would put some stock in the results, however i wouldnt put a ton of it, because there are some situations where i feel the player in question put themselves in a tough spot that i wouldnt have.

Just got 90%. I didn't buy the breakown as of yet so I dont know where I went wrong. Also I am at work so it didn't really get my full attention so I am thinking I could get another 2-5% more had I been able to fully give all the question my full attention.

 

 

you dont have to buy it, it gives you a breakdown free.  if you want something really indepth its like 10 bucks.  id love to know how i got 6% though on the big pairs section.

profit, i screwed up that thing is a sample i have the exact same scores.  they email you your IQ for free only, i got 116, which is actually a little better then what i thought.  i guess you have to pay the 10 bucks to see what you got in each category, which i just might do, im curious now. 

 

i printed out that sample and have the exact numbers you have.  did you give them your email??

weird tho the sample was strong in areas i would be good at and weak in the others now that 6% on the big pairs makes 100% sense.

I got 106, but I consider myself a pretty average player so I guess I can't be too pissed.  I did rush a bit since I'm at work.  I also tend to over think this stuff which doesn't help.  And I spend too much time watching poker on TV and not enough time at the table. 

 

i might take it again under a different email since i have time this weekend.  its hard to do if you are just flyin through.

i got a 108.....but I'm not really sure what's that out of....is that good or bad?

 

I did get a good laugh out of question 51 though.....deja vu.

its outta 159 i have some time right now im gonna take it and actually think about the questions and not have some annoying coworkers bother me.

ya i dont like that question 51 shouldnt even be in there.  anyways i retook it and there is some questions i knew i misread before b/c i remember what i had answered and i did better this time 124, so well just say a 120 score total, thats the average.

I did half the questions last night and did the other halft when I woke up.  I wonder if that mattersl?

they emailed me and it said 115.

it doesnt really have anything to detect bluffs, do you mean he cashed in tournaments with 1000 people or tournaments that were 1000 buy in?

 

also the hero in the donkey test puts himself in no mans land on a lot of these hands, but they do say that before the test.  what makes the test harder is that i dont think i would be in such tough spots on the majority of these hands, they would have been over one way or another before the point that the hand got to.
