Anybody ever tried to play 2 hands at once?

this situation came up this past weekend.

 

on the turn, there was AKJ10. 

 

a tight solid player bets 75 in a 125 pot.  I have a Q and I know he has one too.  So I sit there and pretending that it has a hard call.  Put on a show about how many outs I have(representing 2 pair or a set).  I finally call hoping for an Ace to hit.  Well, Ace did hit the river.  He checks(a very important sign that I could take the whole pot), I bet 225.  He acted all disgusted and eventually fold.

 

 won 1000 this past weekend.  hope my luck continues. 

Yeah ive made that play, didnt doyle talk about it in one of the supersystems?
