I can't believe Scal is still talking about that Astros game. That was not a moose, Scal. It wasn't a bad beat. It wasn't a backdoor. If a fielder dropped a routine fly ball to extend the inning, it'd be a moose. It's not a moose if the best hitting team in baseball, with power up and down the line up, hits a homer off of a guy who yes, is the best pitcher in baseball, but also had been giving up dingers consistently since he came back. It doesn't matter if it was the bottom of the 5th. In an F5 bet both teams get to play their first 5. You don't get to go 5 innings to 4 simply because your team is nursing a lead.
If Miami wouldn't have converted that 2. Had you missed out on a push based on a missed routine PAT, that would be a bad beat. The Astros game was just indicative of how baseball games have gone all year. Runs scored in bunches. Multirun homers. You thought you had reason to be confident because you had Kersh.
