No, any bozo can make claims that they don't back up. I hit ridiculous numbers in college football. Usually in the 80's but I never go around making claims about my record because I only post picks sporadically. The headache isn't worth it to me. You win continuously and people nag you and fill up your in box, you lose and they line up to troll you. So, as i've said many times before, I don't come here for covers fame. I don't come here to tail or fade. I come here to crack jokes with the bros. I never troll anybody's record or picks because I don't typically post my own record and picks. I root for everybody to win.
Then you have Scal. Like him or not, win or lose, he's putting himself out there day after day. He makes his picks public and he tells you how he arrived at them. We all joke about Scal's long write-ups but the fact is, win or lose, they have value. To someone like me, who does his own capping, I can read a Scal write-up and say, "Ok, maybe i'm not tailing (or fading) this pick but there's info I may be able to utilize two weeks from now." Yeah, he sounds crazy when he gets to talking about his write-ups making even a losing bet worthwhile. And I give him sh*t like we all do. The difference is there's no maliciousness when I do it. Win or lose, I appreciate the value of Scal and his write-ups. And this is coming from someone who has never tailed a Scal pick. He's influenced my picks before. I can't say that about many on this site.

They are getting them under control. They were/are all in the northern bay area. Very sad. I know a few people who lost their homes. Thousands have lost their homes. Pretty much had the entire bay area inundated with smoke. Got a little rain on thursday. That helped.

That is exactly what scal does to others. He says my winning picks don't matter because I only write a paragraph, or because they were backdoor covers. He has said on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS that people would rather get a losing pick from him than a winning pick from someone else. That is why he gets the truckloads of sh!t dumped on him every thread. Because he is the biggest hypocrite on the planet.... and when he loses it's never a bad pick.... There is ALWAYS an excuse. Even now to the point where he blames the amount of time it takes him to make a write up.
