Disingenuous? I barely knew you in 2006. I barely knew ANYONE that year! And you were fading me? Of course you were!

Ah so your “official record keeping” involves an informal tally of “who you faded” throughout 8 years of plays.

And this comprises you keeping an accurate tally of every single pick I ever made On Covers in the nhl mlb NCAA Football and basketball, hot dogs eating, pro wrestling, oscar winners, political bets, mma, boxing, golf, tennis, World Cup soccer, international basketball picks and nascar and other random exotic bets?????

You followed me around THAT much over 8 years and kept a PERFECT tally of all my picks??

Of course you did. Can you take a pick of the shrimp cocktail napkin all this accurate accounting took place on??

Gosh, I guess this puts Packers “extensive audit of all Scal’s threads”  that he says he went through to come up with the EXACT same percentages as you a bond fide miracle! Because the threads are gone!

    What a coincidence???!!!!

There ya have it folks. Need I say more??

That puts this 40% capper hilarity.....out to pasture....

That list doesn’t even include the massive amount of picks that took place in the NBA (my original bread and butter) and NFL.
You have ALL those threads...over ALL those years.

    Of

    Course

    You

    Do.

And an accurate Win Loss tally for all to see?

    And it’s all under 50%.

Enron called. They need a new accountant

You asked for proof of your ineptness, and both The Peoples Champ  and myself provided it.

    You are never happy.

    Scal, you are a loser.

Not only did I provide 9 years worth of your wagering futility, but then I backed up my claims of your sucking at betting by whipping your asss in this contest.

    6-11 b!tch puhhhhhlease!!!

For the record, you have lost considerable money 10 of the 12 calendar years that you have been on this site

    Interesting Hugh.

See, you dug your own grave here and now we’re at the bottom of the pit.

Except now I’m shoveling the dirt on you.

I thought, by some miniscule chance, that all my threads I ever posted on Covers were archived somewhere and I just wasn’t seeing it. I searched. Couldn’t find them.

And I thought, well maybe I’m looking in the wrong place and they actually have....them all.

And I thought, “Yeah these guys Hugh and Packers actually have so little of a life to live, they would go through every pick I ever made on Covers to defame me.”

So by some small chance, that would leave me doing the same because then I would have access to the threads after asking someone.

But the truth is, as you just revealed, that this is just informs accounting of the picks I made over 8 years. And isn’t it a coincidence that your record keeping of mine have an overwhelming majority of losing picks.

Did the notebook you recorded all this in stay locked up in a vault in the home office behind the family portrait? When you opened it, did you use a stethoscope to hear the tumblers fall into place when you forgot the code?

It couldn’t be, that within those 8 years, you missed some picks! Not possible! And missed some winners too?

You were in every forum every night for 365 x 8 YEARS. Searching first second and third pages in case my threads fell off the front page, to get my records....

And this is all accurate of course!

From a guy who picks two sides of one game....in a race....to 20

And now...all the threads are gone so we have to rely on you for the truth...

    And only you...

Well in the words of Dana Carver as the Church Lady

    Isn’t that Conveeeeeeenient!

Again, this puts this 40% hilarity....to bed....

Arthur Anderson called Hugh. They’d like your resume

Dirk, what you failed to point out was how ridiculous my tennis picks were, especially the 2nd one...it was as if i was deliberately throwing 2 picks in order to keep this thread going for an extra few weeks...i mean really, that last pick was a test to see if anyone actually would call bullshiit on me...those players sound made up.

    See folks,

Ya just have to ask one or two simple questions to out liars.

"Can you please bump a thread from 2006?"

    He couldn't do it.

Or 2007, or 2008, or 2009, or 2010, or 2011 and on and on and on....

It was all just him, keeping a record of a guy he hates, and of course, the record contain more losses than wins, every single year.

Then he gets Packers to join in the lie (as he said he did an accurate accounting, which is impossible since he wasn't even on the site in 2006 and I never had beef with him until this year.

As I always said, let the pigs lie in this shi*.

    Hugh - congrats on win.

Scal - you said you would leave, you should stick to it.

I was going to write a funny synopsis of the 104 pages here (BWI asking why everyone cares about length of write-ups, Packers calling himself the people's champ, Scal swearing and saying he has some death angles and he is good at Purdue analysis (so maybe bad at all others, Hugh going slightly above 50% to win it - again capping is a coin flip in 20 sample size.

Not sure why everyone was so into cap-off.

The BEST comment was Hugh's tip on VERMONT today - team of 5 experienced guys vs 5 new guys getting 13 points - great call man!

That's what these threads are about - not some bickering between internet men.

    Good luck to all

    Post 2592..

Before this site made recent changes, yes all these threads of yours, dating back to 2006 were easily accessible just looking into ones posting history.
You want to claim its not possible now, which is true given the sites new format, but just a few ago that was not the case...your record will follow, and likely haunt you forever here.

Champ, scal can't seem to digest the reality that the both of us, independently, were able to access his won/loss records before the update to the site.

We both came up with the same numbers, independently, proving that he was a losing capper.

You know Hugh, Scal seemed to have been quite chill yesterday afternoon, as if the meds were kicking in, but once the sun went down, he was all Dracula Scal again.

This thread has several more plot twists for sure...

To be clear, I don't believe that "everyone was in to a cap-off"

Scal was the one who started this thread.
Scal was the one who called out the majority of the guys who posted within this thread.
Scal felt that 20 games was enough to determine who the better capper was.

Two of us just happened to take him up on his challenge.

Based upon his 6-11 record, he would not have beaten a single one of the dozens that he challenged.
Such is the life of a blowhard.

On a separate note ... at one time you seemed to have some interest in talking to scal regarding his capping abilities.

As someone who has done this longer than scal has been alive, I can assure you that there are 2 rules that are way, way, way more prominent than any others when it comes to gambling ...
    #1 money management
    #2 stay unemotional

Scal stated in this thread that he had an "all in" bet on LSU, wagering 20 times his normal stake, so he has no money management.

As for 'unemotional' ... well, all I can say is ...

Very possible now a 6-14 final record for Scal...
Bama odds to win NC is down to -110 from -150
Nd vs Standford doesnt look good anymore
And Purdue/Indiana looks like another Tracey Morgan special.

Kvs - how many times do I say I am leaving before posters here understand it and stop giving me dictums to leave? WE AGREED THE SUPER BOWL would be the date. How many times does that have to be repeated?

“bad at all others” am I reading that right? Clarify that for me.

Ken, he couldn’t even play 20 picks straight up,

Was just outed on this 40% lie...

And you take a sample of 20 when a poster is 60% over 3 years as a defining sample.

    I’d curse but I said I wouldn’t.

Ah now he independently went through all my threads but thhe threads are there no longer because they updated the site.

So no one can verify them.

Even though Packers said he did an extensive audit.

I’m sure Hugh, as my worst enemy on the site, you are being oh so forthright in capturing every play I ever made over 8 years...

Oh but the threads no longer exist to double check

    Church lady time: HOW CONVEEEEEEENIENT!!

Folks if you ever want to put someone, just ask simple questions that require simple answers.

    You’ll get to the truth.

Asking him to bump ONE old thread did that

He could t do it. Surprise!

But I’m sure his Woodward and Bernstein notepad has everything up to par in terms of an accurate audit.
