the rockets are making it interesting

they are playing inspired ball today without YAO...

You have to think given this series on the verge of 2-2 without T-MAC and now Ming that Rick Adelman is a pretty damn good coach.....

    ADELMAN

     GO ROCKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i took lakers for game also, then took houston 2nd half +10.
Artest needs to stop shooting those 3's.  7 points only for houston in the 4th

Another thing for laker fans to consider....they are limping along trying to get past the rockets who are a defensive, physical team....this one definately has the feel it may go 7 games while the nuggs are going to finish off the mavs most likely within the next few days, they might end up being nice and rested by the time when and if the lakers get past houston ...the lakers may end up being a little tired and banged up with little rest to face denver.

    very interesting

    Last year...

1st Round - CELTICS in 7 games over ATLANTA

2nd Round - CELTICS in 7 games over CLEVELAND

East Finals - CELTICS in 6 games over DETROIT

How did that turn out for your Celtics???

    This season...

1st Round - LAKERS in 5 games over UTAH

2nd Round - LAKERS in ??? (6?) games over HOUSTON

Point being this: everybody is getting too excited about this. So far in these playoffs the Lakers have looked better than last years NBA Champions did at this point in the playoffs. Calm down.

But I do know they have some problems right now and don't look like a Championship team so far.

Here's a little tidbit of info for you...NBA CHAMPIONSHIP teams lose games. NBA CHAMPIONSHIP teams DO NOT go undefeated. NBA CHAMPIONSHIP teams lose playoff games, HOWEVER, they DO NOT lose Playoff SERIES!

Sit back, relax and learn a little something about basketball. Give it a rest.

Another tidbit of info for all of you...

When a PROFESSIONAL team in the NBA comes out and shoots the ball EXTREMELY WELL (especially when they are at home)...I don't care who they are playing, that team (who might be far inferior) will win the game! It happens, when teams play a damn near perfect game THEY WILL WIN no matter who they are playing. End of story. Lakers in 6!

Nobody's saying a team should go through the playoffs undefeated to look like a championship team. Every team will lose postseason games. But it's how they lose them and how they react. Getting beat by Hou in LA should have been a wakeup call. Then to get destroyed by a Hou team without Ming is a sign of problems. Whether you believe it or not.

Here you go...it's not a sign of problems. It happens. Like Phil Jackson said live on ESPN in the press conference..."they played a good game, give 'em some FUCKING credit!"

    Good point L8kersFan:

Survive and advance...that is what it is all about.

The problem that I have had with this Laker squad has always been their defense.

If a team can score with them...do they really have the defensive toughness to get it done.

The next round will be interesting, becuase Denver is healthy and I think can score with LA.

I think they even have an intangible that may enable their all-star to not be totally out-matched by LA

    and that is

    Carmelo Anthony

People forget that D-Wade and LBJ was taken in the same draft and they have gotten all of, or at least more, press than Melo.

The series vs. the Lakers is his stage and opportunity to "make his fame.'

The saying is 'the regular season is where you make your name and the postseason is where you make your fame.'

If Melo steps up and comes close to off-setting Kobe's points and edge then Denver will be right there and may get the youngster to his first Finals.

I'm glad I'm able to capitalize on this game though...as Laker fans we know our team, and this game was done at halftime. I took Rockets +5.5 3Q and Rockets +10 2H. I simply can not pass up money-making opportunities like this.

Lakers will be fine...the kiddos that are talking now will be silenced in Game 5.

Point being this: everybody is getting too excited about this. So far in these playoffs the Lakers have looked better than last years NBA Champions did at this point in the playoffs. Calm down.

Come on man!  Kobe will never win a championship without Shaq!  Same thing like Kobe tried to win a championship when Lakers  playing againist Boston in NBA Final last year, but Lakers lost anyway  now you think Lakers might go to WEST Final this year, but I don't think so also Lakers aren't go to NBA Final this year, too

I believe Rockets will able to beat Lakers in Game 6 before Rockets move to WEST Final.

    We'll see what's happen..

What an absolute embarassment, you think Lebron would let his team get embarassed like that? Hell no. Cavs on a mission, Lakers just a honory Kobe with soft Centers and a washed up D fish with a retarded Odom.

I do find it funny that the same CELTICS fans who weren't worrying last year about the C's series' going to 7games, are making it a big deal as soon as 1 Laker series goes at least 6.

LeBron ...I have as many rings as LeBron. My Grandmother who can't pronounce SPALDING, has as many rings as LeBron.  My 4year old deaf lizard, has as many rings as LeBron. Does it really matter if he wouldn't lose a game 4 on the road? ...when LeBron passes me in the RING COUNT,  I will show some love. He's great, but he's not a champion, similar to me.

Huh??? He already let his team get embarassed TWICE this season!...at the hands of the LAKE SHOW! Look back at his EMBARASSING performances when the Lake Show was putting some LOCKDOWN D on his ass! Now THAT was embarassing!
