***Kobe "The Fraud" Bryant appreciation
If you think that game was any indication of what would happen in the playoffs with GINOBLI on the floor, you are sadly mistaken. Lakers are playing great though no doubt..

what simple fact ??? the fact that lebron has no jump shot??? lets see in 5 years when lebron looses that first step ... i like lebron he is the most talented physically but kobe is so much better in all facets ... you can pull up stats and say he isn't but you just don't watch every game like i do ... you bring up every point every laker fan did 2 years ago for kobe for mvp .. we feel your pain but its kobe's year
Haha of course I watch every game. What made you assume this?
LeBron HAS a jumpshot, and is shooting 44% on Jumpshots alone this year, which is much higher than his previous years. And regardless, scoring at a higher % is what really matters. No one does this better than LeBron.
I agree, Kobe HAS ran away with the MVP. That doesn't mean he's the best player in the league though. Not a single player has had a better individual season this year than LeBron James.
And in a simple sense of the word, I would even argue James is right there, but it doesn't run like that, and wins count more than individual performance...
Throwback, again, mello and ray allen are better than LeBron right? LOL. Every single one of your posts is as follows.

Lakers!
Kobe
You contribute nothing to this forum aside from a retarded, non-factual, objective comment with a smiley face on the side.
Just for the record to summarize, MVP does NOT = best player (Dirk last year) although I believe it should. Kobe is def the front runner as of now for MVP but he is NOT playing better than LeBron James this season, his team is just more successful of course due also to his contributions.

LeBron also has a much bigger burden on his individual performance with his sub-par supporting cast vs someone like Kobe.

LeBron is playing with back spasms currently, an injury that had Tmac miss much of the past seasons.
And lakers got blown out by Bobcats, a 5 win road team, at home...congrats.
As for LeBron making the playoffs with that lineup, HAHA of course he would have. Lamar Odom is better than ANY player on the Cavs by a considerable margin. Not only did he make the playoffs, he single handedly beat the Pistons in the ECF...
The difference between us is that I like Kobe - he's no doubt in my mind the 2nd best SG of all time, and very close to LeBron for being the best player in the game currently. I would have both of them being on their own level currently in terms of skill and performance. Even above Paul. With that said though, I do NOT hate Kobe, nor the Lakers. I just look at things objectively which you guys can't seem to do.

Historic Total
2006-2007:
Final FADE train statistics -
10-9 SU and 14-5 ATS (74% winning) overall (includes Playoffs Round 1 -Game 2 blowout loss to the Phoenix Suns)
2007-2008:
7-13 SU (including 3 +1000 or greater ML hits)
12-8 ATS <--- 60% or better for the 2nd consecutive year
Now will the FADE train continue for the playoffs? LOL
With the Fakers securing the #1 seed in the Western Conference, the FADE train will definitely have more opportunity to cash in.
Good luck in the playoffs ladies and gentlemen, I predict it'll be another wild one.

My main man. What's up on your end of the world?
Only a few more days until the May Meltdown. Speaking of which, I saw our friend GB in the baseball forum posting under a new name but I forgot it. Maybe I can convince him to come back.
P.S. Hope you had a chance to hop on the FADE train this year... They lost 3 straight to end the season and STILL finished over 60%

NeverLandRanch,
You see that the Bryant fans (I'm the only real LAKERS fan) aren't in here because they knew if it wasn't for Gasol and Odom (the two players that normally carry the team) then the Nuggets would have won the GAME!
Bryant single handidly kept Denver in the game with his piss poor play but that should be expected being that he's never been a top performer in the playoffs. Anyone seen how his stats DROP when playoff time comes around?
Oh and isn't it funny how all of the true MVP candidates for each team shined in their Game 1's? LeBron James! Chris Paul! We all know who the real reason behind the LAKERS success is and that is Gasol and Odom. They played GREAT basetketball during the 3rd quarter but when the MOOSE #24 came in the game, the FAKERS returned and Denver cut the lead easily.

What I still don't understand is...If the season is 82 games how in the hell is the so-called "Fade Train" just 12-8? Makes no sense. ![]()
I don't see you coming in and saying "Ok, today is a fade of the Lakers, today is a Fade Train Play..."
Mods - Don't people get boxed for claiming false W-L records??? ![]()

Hustle_Man,
It's very unfortunate that there are fans like you out there that look forward to watching hard working basketball players fail.....You probably got so excited to post that about Chris Paul's game compared to Kobe's......You are going to feel so stupid (even more if thats possible) as these playoffs continue on.....Now whenever you post, your credibility is questionable.....you don't know basketball and I can fairly assume that you dont know sports
