I'm really really lucky to be alive and as I told them when I was in ICU "get me out of here and I'll deal with the next bridge when I get to it" and that's what I'm doing and appreciating every moment.
I've had 2 6 minute walking tests and failed both, both under 2 minutes and I was stopped because 02 dropped into mid 80's. Both were with oxygen tank carrying 4 litres of oxygen. Last one was when I was told that I'll be on oxygen the rest of my life.
Last Aug 14th was 1st time out with oxygen and couldn't walk 30 seconds before alarm went off. I was determined and was using phone stopwatch every outing which I put away because I was getting only 25-27 seconds in which was usually 44 steps before alarm went off so I just counted my steps and tried adding steps every outing. I've now worked my way up to around 2 minutes before alarm goes off and that's OK, I'm alive.
When right knee allowed me to, (last outing 2020 now getting Durolane injections every 6 months because of severe pain) I was out jogging/stopping upwards to an hour, and now can’t walk past 2 minutes carrying an 11-pound oxygen tank and needing 4 litres of oxygen. 4 litres gets me about 2-2.5 hours per outing so that works great.
DU4L I've put my time in, going to be 71 this Saturday, and just real happy to be alive, seeing family, close friends and capping as I head towards the finish line, lol.
I’m read most posts and not here to argue with anyone. I’m done with that. I’ve found that minds can’t be changed and people don’t get it and never will unless they “get” the ICU version of it and only then better hope that they have no underlying health issues as the odds and percentages diminish. As well as that hopefully one isn’t of young age with young kids. My daughter’s friend is having a real hard time because of her severe fatigue and her super husband is doing best he can to make things work for their family. Very stressful all around. She told me herself that seeing she’s had 3 vaccines where would she be if she didn’t get them as she was contemplating at one point of not getting vaccinated.

The following happened about a month ago. I am notified that my vaccinated sister has covid. I ask what the doctor is giving her. She is told to stay home and rest. I immediately put a week's worth of the following together for her. Vitamin c, vitamin d, zinc and quercetin. I take the supplements to her. The following is my point. She tells me that she is glad she got vaccinated because it would be worse for her if she was not vaxxed! That is the psyop. (Psychological operation) Convince everybody to take 3-4 vaccinations so that they won't feel as bad with covid compared to if they did not! I talk to her 3 days later after she put the supplements in her system. My sister was 100%. I can not prove that the supplements did the trick. But I know they had to help.

I’ve been taking supplements for decades and even though my family doctor doesn’t believe in them he said “just keep doing what you’re doing, your results show no concerns at all, wish I had same results”
That was when I went to him about severe knee pain in 2020 and him saying “now that you’re here here’s your bloodwork results from your physical” Only thing he believes in is Vitamin D and high EPA fish oil. I’ve been taking 3000 IU of D and 360 mcg of K2 for ?? years as well as Nutra Sea Omega 3 High EPA 1500 mg/DHA 500 mg for ??? years and still do.
Not going to include everything that I was taking and still taking but with what you wrote I take Quercetin LipoMicel Matrix 250 mg, Vitamin C 1000 mg, and every second, night Zinc Picolinate 30 mg. and was taking supplements way before COVID was even a word. I take the Zinc only every 2nd night because to much Zinc can lower immune system. I take it with 10 mg melatonin and 200 mcg Magnesium Bislycinate before bed.
When I was in ICU-X they gave a 1000 mg Vitamin D daily and no way would they allow my daughter to bring to security desk my daily supply of what I take when I asked and with good reason, and I understood. I’m not arguing or saying what’s right or what’s wrong, each their own. Maybe having all the supplements that I took before COVID saved me from dying, who knows.
Sundance I’m as honest as one can be and I personally wouldn’t advice anyone to gamble with their life thinking that any vitamin/mineral/name it will save them from catching possible ICU COVID. I’ve read so many times, and even told by a few ex-friends, in short “you're taking enough for the whole family" "if you take…….you build your immune system, you won’t catch COVID etc.” For me personally, wrong.
Best to you with whatever you feel is the right thing to do sundance....Best to you.
