 Extremely positive words often repeated spread like wildfire in a place like an ICU ...You telling others to repeat it , might make them speak it into existence moving forward in their lives...Much respect for you battling through all the lasting effects from covid day in and day out ..

Going to the track with your 3 generations will make wonderful memories that will never be forgotten .......Even with advanced  alzhiemers my mother remembers her grand parents taking her to Fort Erie racetrack..Some of the stories might as well have happened yesterday ( vivid memories )

 Got those words from boxing trainer when I was a kid. He also added "there's no one jumping over the boards when you're hurt kid. This isn't hockey. You either fight to survive or quit. You're only a loser if you quit when you're behind". I later passed on his words to others and did so when in ICU to a nurse. 

Thoughts with your mom and your family. Bet your mother has some great Fort Erie memories. Went there decades ago and loved it.

Thank you Brother , We have been blessed thaf mom still remembers us at this stage of Alzheimer's ...We make everyday a birthday party ( leave our dining room decorated for a party year round ) ...The happiness it provides appears to trigger her brain to random excellent memories that she pulls almost out of a hat ..

I’m a very stubborn, very independent as can be guy and there’s no way I could have made it on my own when I was released from the hospital, no long story, just an admitted no way I could have. I was so happy to get to the point after almost 5 months of their caring to be able to say “I’m OK, totally OK” as I tried walking outside for 1 time so I’m going to keep walking and do as much as I can to stay around for as long as I can.
