How to Win at Betting Baseball

Game....Ive been following you for 2 years now (this will be my 3rd baseball season following your plays) Heres to a season more like the one you had in 2008 instead of 2009. You planning a trip out to Vegas again like you did last summer? Doing the weekly radio program again?

I like looking for value and your writeup made me give a closer look at my beloved Expos( a.k. a. Senators) dwelling  in the pits last year.

They had 33 wins at home out of 81 and that drew good value each time they played..

They had about 26 home series and betting to win on the last game of each series netted 4. 85 units

wins 15 /  26 at an ave. +105.7 and 11 losses at an ave. of 100.2 bet.

That is about a 57.7% win rate with dogs. Added together, 57.7 x 1.057 would net 60 %.  I wouldn't have looked for this if it wasn't for your insightfull piece. Keep up the good work

P.S. If my math is off that is because I do eveything manually, please forgive errors

I'm with you. Had a great start last year and died after the all-star break....and yes, I will be in Vegas at All-Star break again this year.

Hey so Ive been trying to find a book for baseball... I heard that 5Dimes is a good baseball book (it says they have 5 cent lines). Is matchbook even lower than that? IE. What would a 5 cent line equate to? Ive just been using bookmaker this whole time which is the standard -110/-110 shop. Thanks buddy and Im looking forward to learning a little bit from you this baseball season!

Good to see you posting GH as you seem to know your stuff and have a great track record. I know just about nothing about betting baseball and thinking about tailing you this year and trying to learn what angles you are betting off of and under which situations.

-110/-110 shops are like putting money in a bank and you pay the bank 5% interest....Pinny is tough to get into from the US...try MBook which is a betting exchange where you will pay between 1 and 2 cent spreads or 5 Dimes.

for the last 10 yrs baseball has been my most succesful sport, i finallly learned that bases was about value ,and disecting trends, pitchers, and situations , the majority of my bets are all underdogs, but i have pounded parleys over the years mixing dogs , totals and a a couple favs, when i get in my groove , i have hit 6-7 teamers that have paid dividens for bank, along with my daily underdog plays between 3-9 everyday, i have a system i use according to streaks,and starting pitching betting on dogs+100-+150 it has provided me great success

Hey, how does Bookmaker compare to the others you mentioned? Lotta juice on the MLB? How bad is it in that 1-20-cent range you mentioned?

started out going to yonkers and roosevelt raceway, betting the trotters in the early 60s,  long before the meadowlands.  live on the west coast now,  are you familiar with andy harringtons workout service?  great for maidens and babiy races

it is certainly best to start favorite-betting-freshmen thinking of more and more dogs, but do you later find the opposite problem in sophomore handicappers---bettors not taking chalk above a certain arbitrary number, even tho there may be tremendous value of your line vs. books?
